Prior to teaching I have worked in life science Reasearch and Development and in Biopharamceutical research, sales and marketing. I also worked a part-time voluntary teaching assistant in primary and seconday schools for 2 years. In 2014 I decided to change career completely to become a science teacher, so I trained at Kings College, graduating with my PGCE in 2015.

Since leaving mainstream teaching five years ago I have worked as a STEM tutor for a charity. My main role is to develop and provide workshops including coding, engineering, electronics and sustainability for all ages.
