Hello! I am a friendly, fun and dynamic tutor, ensuring that my lessons are bespoke to the needs of your child. All my tutoring is currently one to one, however, I am exploring the group tuition options. I tutor purely online, creating an immersive learning environment for your child to truly thrive. The lesson is run through Zoom to ensure that your child can see me and I can see them throughout the lesson. I use some whiteboard features for explaining concepts and I also use a programme to ensure that a range of interactive activities can be accessed by your child to progress learning. I am able to see everything that your child is doing on the screen, meaning I am able to keep them on track, identify misconceptions and progress their learning as they require it.
I am a fully qualified teacher, with experience in the classroom. Teaching in both Wales and England I am able to teach to both curriculums effectively and efficiently. With an in depth understanding of the requirements of both learning environments. Prior to teaching in a school environment I taught a variety of age ranges within the museum sector, accumulating an additional 4 years teaching experience. I have a Diploma in SEN Teaching, alongside classroom experiences working alongside children with ADHD and ASD, dyslexia and speech and communication delay, along with supporting children with mental health concerns.
In addition, I have experience of working with children to build upon their confidence, breaking down the negative relationship they may have with maths and rebuilding it in a positive manner. I am passionate about my subject and have plenty of tips and tricks to help your child succeed.
This is particularly successful in developing your child's confidence and skills at GCSE. Results day 2024 saw my students have 100% pass rate with Grade 4s or above. Many of my students improved by 2 or more grades by their exams.

I’m a 23 year old primary education graduate, with a QTS. I graduated with a 2:1 from the university west of England last July. I haven’t yet started my teaching career as I wanted to start tutoring first! I currently have been tutoring every week for just under a year, seeing lots of progress in my student. I have also been babying during this time too as well as working as a teaching assistant. I have over 5 years of experience working in childcare settings, including nurseries, schools, 1:1 work with ALN and so on.
I am passionate about my work and find my hard work and dedication has hugely paid off in the past couple years. I have developed my skills and knowledge of the curriculum through my studies and through my teaching too, to enable me to give the best support and learning for your children! My future plan is to start my own tutoring business and expand on this over the next few years.

Hi, I’m Caitlyn. I’m a 1st Year Chemistry student at Swansea University. I am based in Swansea and Pontypridd. I have experience tutoring adults in level 1- 2 Literacy and Numeracy courses + casual maths, chemistry and physics tutoring for GCSE students.
Experience:
As well as tutoring adults, I worked as a "Summer Outreach Intern" at Swansea University where my responsibility was to teach chemistry to Secondary school children in a lab setting.
At GCSE, I achieved 13 A* grades and 2 A's, as well as studying 2 additional subjects in my spare time (History and Music, in which I achieved both A*s, so I'm well versed with self studying and great revision tips!)
At A level, I studied Chemistry, maths, further maths and physics, where I achieved AABB. This is despite self studying Chemsitry (which I am now studying at University)
I have had my fair share of difficulties with teachers in the past - but that can be overcome with a little bit of hard work, and I am excited to help!

I am an experienced and qualified Computer Science teacher with a strong background in the field and a passion for education. With QTS status and currently completing a Master's degree in Computer Forensics, I have experience teaching A Level Computer Science, and proficiency in coding languages such as Python and Visual Basic. To motivate my students I encourage and implement effective assessment procedures and strategies, involve parents, guardians and the students in the assessment process, and practice a variety of Assessment for Learning (AFL) techniques (Online quizzes, flashcards and interactive sites). I have also successfully launched and manage coding clubs and mentorship programs to promote critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills among students. Overall, I think I am well-equipped to make a positive impact on a student’s Computer Science education journey, whether you are young or older young(like me) and enjoy learning, as I am experienced in mentoring trainee teachers to their teaching of Computer Science practices with exciting tried and tested pedagogical and relevant activity resources.

I have over 7 years of experience working as a mathematics tutor in both school settings and private tuition, delivering high-quality maths support to students from Key Stage 2 to GCSE level.
My teaching has included both face-to-face and online lessons, allowing me to adapt to a range of learning needs and styles. I'm fully familiar with all major UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas, WJEC, and OCR, and I tailor my lessons to match the specific requirements of each.
I also have strong experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. I create patient, supportive, and structured learning environments where every student can feel confident and make progress.
