I am an experienced and qualified Computer Science teacher with a strong background in the field and a passion for education. With QTS status and currently completing a Master's degree in Computer Forensics, I have experience teaching A Level Computer Science, and proficiency in coding languages such as Python and Visual Basic. To motivate my students I encourage and implement effective assessment procedures and strategies, involve parents, guardians and the students in the assessment process, and practice a variety of Assessment for Learning (AFL) techniques (Online quizzes, flashcards and interactive sites). I have also successfully launched and manage coding clubs and mentorship programs to promote critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills among students. Overall, I think I am well-equipped to make a positive impact on a student’s Computer Science education journey, whether you are young or older young(like me) and enjoy learning, as I am experienced in mentoring trainee teachers to their teaching of Computer Science practices with exciting tried and tested pedagogical and relevant activity resources. |
