'My dyslexic daughter has been working with Sarah for the last 4 years. Sarah has changed her life. My daughter hated school and couldn't wait to leave. She was frustrated that her teachers didn't understand how to get the best out of her. She was really demotivated and it was affecting her mental health. Sarah immediately worked out she was bright and knew how to make her tick. Together they have laughed and cried until my daughter started to enjoy learning and look forward to seeing Sarah each week. Her grades started to improve and she sailed through GCSEs. Sarah has supported her, advocated for her at meetings at her school and become one of her chief cheerleaders. Sarah continues to support her through year 12 and my daughter has started to excel with her chosen subjects. 4 years on my daughter is considering which University to apply to and there is no talk of giving up school. If you have a dyslexic child who is struggling I would 100% recommend Sarah C.. She is magic.'
Founded in 2015 SC Tuition is the premier tutoring agency in West Sussex. From our base we work with you either online or face to face to provide an inspirational, supportive and friendly academic service tailored specifically to your family's aspirations and needs. "Our daughter was predicted to fail her English Language GCSE at Foundation Level and was told to not to bother with English Literature. With Sarah’s support our daughter managed to not only pass both but to also go on to pass English Literature at higher level for The International Baccalaureate. Sarah is patient, supportive and a brilliant teacher. We feel very lucky to have found her. She had a wonderful rapport with our daughter and indeed the whole family." (Mrs A. Horsham)

I have been teaching since 2006 across Yorkshire and Staffordshire, to a variety of age groups and abilities and in a variety of settings; from community groups to sixth-form colleges. Now I have returned to my roots in Doncaster, where I began performing at the age of 7 years and founded DN4 Dance & Theatre in 2019. In addition to a BA Hons in Dance and PGCE (PCET), I have a background in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Musical Theatre and is a registered teacher with BBOdance (British Ballet Organisation). When I'm not teaching, I work closely with local Theatre groups and on a professional basis, acting, singing and providing choreography for events/productions. Over my experience in working in FE, I have successfully supported many of my students in their application process to Higher Education and Drama school; selecting and rehearsing monologues for audition and preparing UCAS application. Some of my former students are currently studying at ALRA and UCLAN and I have also successfully helped students gain entry to Anglia Ruskin in Cambridge.
While my recent formal experience has been with FE students and above, I have taught students from the age of 5 through to university level on a wide range of topics. Areas of study include; Physical Theatre (from Dance-based to Commedia dell'Arte), Shakespeare, Contemporary Theatre, Prose.
A general lesson will include a short warm-up (either skills or focus based) prior to the main content; breaking down a script/choreography, rehearsal, feedback and discussion based on learning taken place and next steps. I try to make lessons as practical as I can, dependent on the material that we are working with and the end result required.

I completed my secondary science PGCE in 2015. I am a Biology specialist, however, I have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching in all three sciences. I am also highly adaptable. I have taught across key stage 3 and key stage 4, including year 11 groups who I taught physics, chemistry and biology. I have been included in general CPD in schools and also in departmental moderation of marking across GCSE. I have taught at several Sheffield schools including High Storrs, Sheffield Park Academy, Sheffield Springs Academy, Birley Community College, Firth Park Academy and Forge Valley School. I have been tutoring for several years and I teach science, geography and maths GCSE both higher and foundation level. I've taught the content for AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards. I also tutor 6th form students in both year 12 and 13 at Biology A Level. I have tutored students through university foundation courses for healthcare and education degree courses. I can also tutor maths and science for university GCSE equivalency exams. Science and maths education is something I have always been passionate about and I try to encourage students to share this passion. It is vital to ensure that all students receive the best education possible and it is my belief that they should receive it in a caring and supportive environment. I refuse to believe that any student cannot succeed in a subject, especially something as versatile and flexible as science and maths, there is always a way to get through to any student. While this is more of a personal belief, I have yet to see anything to the contrary. I have been involved with extra-curricular activities; film club, lunch and break duties, corridor patrols and form activities. I have also received weekly training sessions by specialists in school on teaching both SEN and EAL students and improving my own pedagogy.

Learning any instrument should be a fun and rewarding experience, I am passionate about music and hope to pass this onto all the students I teach.
I have been teaching guitar, bass and ukulele since 2000. Throughout this time, I have worked with several different organisations. These include the Derbyshire City and County Music Partnership, Sheffield Music service, HI Gain Guitar school and Harmony Music school. At present I still work along side the Sheffield Music Service as an accredited teacher. This gives me access to professional development courses as well as an enhanced DBS certificate. A recent observation judged my lessons as outstanding.
Through teaching guitar, I have had the pleasure of see many of my students grow into well round musicians performing in bands and working in the music industry. Students range from beginner to established players looking to refine their skills. Everyone is welcome, and I teach students from the age of 7 right through to retired people looking for a new challenge.
Through teaching guitar, I have been interviewed for the guitar tutor magazine as well as being feature in the Guitar techniques magazine.
Aside from teaching I have worked in many bands over my career playing in venues across the country from theatres to clubs and everything in between. One of my claims to fame is performing in front of both Prince William and Prince Harry.
As well as teaching and gigging, I also work for the London College of music as an examiner. For this I travel around the country conducting exams in Guitar, Bass and Ukulele from the beginner stage right through to diplomas in performance and teaching. This work has not only seen me travel across the U. K but I have also completed 2 exam tours of Australia and New Zealand as well as trips to Greece, Cyprus and Ireland.

After teacher training I spent a year on supply working at various schools on short and long term placements in a variety of subjects. During one placement at a pupil referral unit I was offered a full time position and worked here for 1 year with students with behavioural difficulties and special needs. I then moved to Frederick Gough school in scunthorpe again to fill a position as a teacher of ICT I am now in my 9th year of teaching. After 2 years I secured a position as a head of year and have worked with all age groups from 7 to 11 in this time providing pastoral care and coordinating the learning over over 270 students. I Have just completed my NPQSL (National professional qualification for senior leaders) and hope to make the step to assistant head in the very near future. My relationship and rapport with all students is excellent and I am to help them achieve their best, whatever that may be.

Please contact me to book a Lesson on tel: *** or at ***@*** - Professional one to one singing tutor, providing cutting edge techniques to a worldwide clientele. I’m Roxi, a female Soprano, who has now completed my BA (Hons) in Classical Singing with a 1st class degree at Leeds Conservatoire. I have also achieved a Masters with Distinction in Operatic Singing and Stage Performance at the same institution. I’m looking to take my career as far as I can and believe in what I do and would like to share this passion with you also. I offer personalised singing tuition, in a one-to-one format. Whether you have a dream to try singing for the first time or want to become a seasoned professional, my easy-to-follow lessons and material will support your progress and advancement through the curriculum. My stage experience was gained from the many Classical recitals I participated in, both here in the UK and abroad. I had the honour to be given the role of Armelinde in the Earth Odyssey Opera part of the Sounds like This Festival supported by Arts Council England, with great success. Nevertheless I have achieved an international diploma in Romania , where I trained with the famous Romanian soprano, Prof. Dr. Eleonora Enachescu. I can bring new vocal techniques to our lessons with a vast amount of practical knowledge as well as character interpretation and language pronunciation skills / diction. Recent research has focused on the physical and mental benefits that come from singing, suggesting that frequent sessions can lower stress, relieve anxiety and elevate endorphins in your brain. My tuition classes can help to stimulate your imagination and you too could benefit from the health perks above. All services provided by me are tailored to the individual via a personal consultation. Young or old I always invite the potential student to explore the learning aims and agree on a measurable way to gauge achievement. I specialise in Classical Opera but also offer exciting classes in contemporary and gospel music should you wish to try them. Gain confidence you never knew you had and take that first step, I’m only a call away and look forward to speaking to you. Note – I follow ABRSM and Trinity syllabuses and I have full public insurance liability (ISM 88151).
