I am an extremely experienced teacher/tutor and examiner of A level Psychology and Sociology. I have experience of tutoring for AQA, OCR, Edexcel and Cambridge International for Psychology and AQA for Sociology.

In my years of teaching and tutoring at A level, I have built up a wealth of resources that are used and shared with my tutees in helping them consistently achieve A* and A grades.
My approach to tutoring is to be flexible and approachable so that students feel free to ask any questions that they wish.
My examining experience is second to none, having been Chief Examiner for A level Psychology and senior positions for A level Sociology. I am currently a senior examiner for A level Psychology.
My tutoring is always totally exam focused, aided by my examining experience which gives me invaluable insight into how the exams are marked and what the exam boards are looking for.
My knowledge of Psychology and Sociology is very strong as I have published textbooks related to the A level Psychology specifications.

I have been a science teacher for the past 6/7 years in Staffordshire. Last year my classes achieved an average of two grades above their GCSE target grades. The school I am currently teaching at in Staffordshire is ranked 4th in the county in terms of progress 8.
I am a well qualified graduate achieving an upper second class degree in biology at the university of Liverpool. I have been tutoring both biology and chemistry for the past two years on tutorhunt. During this time, I have helped multiple students achieve excellent grades in science.

I have taught Chemistry at a large Leicestershire 14-18 School for over 30 years. I have been Head of Chemistry at this school for 20 years. I teach AQA GCSE Chemistry and AQA A-Level Chemistry. I have also taught Nuffield A-Level Chemistry. I have tutored AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR and OCR(Salters) A-Level Chemistry and AQA and OCR GCSE Chemistry. I have tutored students outside of school for 26 years with much success. Many of my A-level students have achieved 100% in A-level Chemistry modules and I have tutored many GCSE students who have achieved 100% in all their GCSE modules for GCSE Chemistry. I am also a Principal Examiner for IGCSE Chemistry. I have marked both Foundation and Higher IGCSE Chemistry papers. I have been an Examiner for Singapore A-level Chemistry. Both these roles have helped me to recognise the difficulties that students have with both GCSE and A-level examination questions and the way to answer them successfully. I use this knowledge to the students advantage in my lessons. I tutor online using Skype, Zoom, Teams and FaceTime which works really well. I have had many students who have gone on to study medicine and other medical degrees. I also write multiple choice GCSE Chemistry questions for an exam board.
My approach is variable depending on the ability of the student and what they are struggling on at the time. However I believe that the practicing of past paper questions is vital for examination success. It is the attention to detail which counts in an examination and I make sure all of my students know everything in the syllabus and have practiced lots of different styles of examination question. I tutor online using Skype, Zoom, Teams and FaceTime usually texting, emailing or messaging students examination practice questions which works really well. At the moment all my tutoring is online. I specialise in working with students on a 1-on-1 basis, easing and tackling individual areas of difficulty at their appropriate pace – something that can be difficult to receive in the standard school environment. My teaching approach is adaptive upon students’ own learning attitude, thus, presenting resources in various ways. It is focused on fostering a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of a topic, before applying that knowledge to solving questionnaires. I also specially aid with exam preparation to share my own unique methods of working and exam techniques/tips. I have taught a wide age group from 5 to 24, which my past tutor sessions were based on creativity of my hobbies such as art, which always worked absolutely well since when I was a GCSE student.
I have many experiences working with children, especially with spending my work experience as an assistant in a primary school class, I was able to interact and deal with various situations to keep the children calm, focused and motivated. As a school tutor, I utilised my organisational skills to collect resources and investigated various methods of teaching to find the most efficient way to deliver difficult contents, suiting the students’ own learning attitude appropriately. Lucie Talbot is a trained dancer, choreographer, teacher, and artist well known throughout the UK, Whilst directing her 12-year strong hip hop academy, Training dancers who, have become accomplished artists themselves. Lucie first started her career as a Jazz dancer after training in 1998, at the Prestigious Italia Conti Performing Arts College in London. Whilst at her classic studies Lucie Trained at others studios across London for Street Dance Styles. After her extensive training in classic styles Lucie went on to train worldwide with the masters of Street Dance gaining knowledge and skills in the many styles of the Street Dance technique.
