I am an Honours graduate in Applied Physics from the University of Strathclyde. I taught Mathematics to children from ages 12 to 18 for 26 years, and have successfully prepared many classes for public examinations at National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher (Mathematics and Mechanics) and A-Level. I also have considerable experience in the one-to-one tuition of students, both in school and privately. I try to keep my part of the lesson to a minimum, so that the student can get as much practice as possible. I can tailor lessons to cover a particular need, and can provide plenty of examples to work on. Piano and classical languages are two other areas of interest, especially the works of Schubert, and the writings of the Latin poets.

My name is Rebecca, I am educated to PhD level in Linguistics and I have over ten years experience of tutoring/teaching various subjects and levels at different institutions from tutoring privately, to tutoring at community centres and at universities.
I primarily tutor English at Nat 5/GCSE and Highers/A Levels though I have plenty of experience teaching English as a foreign/second language to all ages and levels both casually and professionally as well as academic English. I am also able to assist in the research methodology component of Nat 5/Higher Psychology.
I currently lecture research methodology and English at an international college. I am also an examiner for Cambridge for the English general comprehension paper and the English Language paper.
I have had a passion for language and assisting people with their learning since a very early age. I write poetry and, as as a lover of science fiction and fantasy, I engage in world building and write fantasy novels.
My lessons are tailored to the needs of the inidividual. My approach is patient, compassionate and scholarly. I enjoy sharing wisdom with my students and cultivating a passion for learning for the sake of learning.
I am also flexible, if extra time is needed or a change in location or day or time of session is required, I can accomodate.
Please be advised that I am disabled, part of my disability is limited mobility. I therefore prefer online or to meet students in very nearby neutral locations. I am based in Cambuslang where there are plenty of coffee shops/cafes.

I am a passionate and dedicated music educator with a deep love for inspiring students of all levels to enjoy the art of music. Through my work with the Benedetti Foundation, I contribute to innovative outreach programs that bring music to diverse communities. As a Teacher for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) Junior Music Centres, I have the privilege of nurturing young musicians and helping them grow in confidence and skill. Alongside these roles, I’ve spent the past two years teaching privately, tailoring my lessons to suit each individual’s unique learning style.
My teaching is driven by excitement and adaptability, ensuring every session is engaging, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of my students. My ultimate goal is to make playing music a joyful and rewarding experience for everyone, whether they’re just starting out or honing advanced skills. I firmly believe in the power of music to inspire and empower, and I strive to share that passion with every student I teach.

I am a passionate musician with 18 years of experience and have performed in a variety of ensembles around the world ranging from classical orchestras, pop orchestras to Operas, Ballet and Jazz bands. As well as musical theater shows and Scottish traditional ensembles such as the Grit Orchestra.
As a teacher I am trying to help my students find their own musical identity and sound using various techniques and exercises in order to allow them to reach their full potential. In my lessons I will not only focus on the technical aspects of playing but i will also focus on finding the correct body posture as this affects how connected and blended the sound is with the movement. Focusing on the correct body posture prevents injuries, as holding the violin is already an unnatural position of the body and can cause tension on the upper back and neck. Therefore finding ways to relax the muscles as much as possible while playing will make the student feel much more at ease for extended periods of time.
Most importantly my aim is to make learning the violin as enjoyable as possible.

I'm Laura, and I've always loved learning about the world around me. This led to studying physics to a doctoral level, and discovering my passion lies in the communication of science, and sharing my enthusiasm for the subject.
In my lessons I favour a conversational approach. This allows me to engage the student while showing me their thinking. From here I can gently disentangle any confusion leading to a deeper understanding of the topic.
Lesosns themselves are tailored to the student and can include teaching of new content, revision of previous content or practicing questions together to help the student achieve mastery. I am flexible and happy to know the topic in advance or for the student to turn up on the day and let me know what they would like to practice. This can include any questions that came up over the week in other lessons of the subject at school, for instance.
I do have split pricing, so I charge £50 per hour during the week, and £55 per hour at the weekend.

Miss Lara started dancing Ballet over 17 years and have the teaching experience in 9 years. She is well- known in Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and she also could provide the class of PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique). All level and age is welcome.
The class would based on your needs, such as keep practicing the RAD syllabus (if you would have an exam on or you just want to start with the syllabus) or just the Free Exercise class. Miss Lara would based on the age you might be learned to provide the exercise in the class. All classes are included the warm up exercise, barre work(except under age 5), centre work, include the adage, allegro, and the relaxation for end the class. All classes in 60 mins.
if you are a new learner or an advanced dancer, you still can attend the class of PBT ( Progessing Ballet of Technique), which is good for working on your muscles, but it takes time to keep practicing. After a period of practice, you could feel the improvements in your normal dance class.

Hello. I am a USA citizen living in Scotland. I am a registered primary school teacher in Puerto Rico, Massachusetts and Scotland (P1-P6). I am fully bilingual and I am offering online courses/tutoring via Zoom. I can teach Spanish and English, and help the little ones with school works, or catching up where they are falling behind. I am also an artist with a beautiful list of Art Therapy certificates which I can teach to all ages. Art therapy is a way to use our creative side as a tool to express that which we may find hard to talk about. It is great for channeling our emotions, our traumas, our fears, our pain, and help us heal.
