Hi, I am a Maths teacher with 15 years experience. I teach right up to A-Level pure and applied. I have 12 years experience of exam marking for Edexcel and i am an examiner for KS2 Sats, GCSE exams and A-Level exams.
I am easy to get on with and will use different ways to explain methods. I have high expectations of all my pupils and nothing is achieved without hard work. I have 2 children myself aged 16 & 18. I am part time at work so have the time to invest into tutoring online.
My primary specializaton is helping children gain entrance to their preferred secondary school by tutoring and supporting them to pass the entrance exams. I also tutor mathematics and English for ages 7-13, which is in high demand at the moment due to gaps in knowledge caused by the Covid pandemic.

Within this dynamic classroom, I am proud to support and foster the growth of three students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), each with significant learning gaps spanning from Year 5 all the way down to Reception. Additionally, I work diligently to meet the needs of all my pupils, 17 of whom are students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they receive tailored support through adaptive teaching and scaffolding to help them thrive academically and personally.
Taking over the class halfway through the year due to maternity leave presented an additional challenge. Building strong bonds and establishing trust with the students was crucial in creating a positive and cohesive learning environment. Through perseverance and dedication, I worked tirelessly to forge meaningful connections with each student, acknowledging their individual strengths and providing the necessary support to bridge any learning gaps they may have encountered.

I am Gemma, an aspiring secondary school music teacher. I am a music scholarship student and alongside my studies at university, I love teaching musicians about music history, music analysis and music theory.
I am currently teaching music theory for first year university students and after my undergraduate degree I plan to do my PGCE.
Anyone is welcome to have lessons with me,you can be any age, any ability and from anywhere in the UK as I am happy to do a lot of teaching online through either Zoom or Skype.
