In my lesson, you can speak Japanese as much as you want! Because practice is the key to successful learning and a shortcut to becoming a fluent speaker. Even if you have full knowledge, it could be practically pointless when you cannot use it in a real situation.
I deliver pacey, articulate, and intensive lessons with lots of fun elements. I can customise lessons depending on your goal, interest, and level so that the format will vary. In 2024, absolute beginners are very welcome, too!
Absolute beginner course has about 48 lessons /30 minutes (=24 lessons/ hour). I mainly use my handmade presentation slides created for standardised tests based on the grammar school's curriculum. You can gradually increase vocabularies and practise grammar in an organized way. When you complete this course, you will be able to speak, read, write, and listen to basic Japanese.
I am available before 5pm on weekdays, but this does not always apply to every student. So, please contact me to find out the detail.
Your first lesson is about 20 minutes, which is set for getting to know each other.

Hi, I am a fully qualified maths teacher with 7 years of experiance with teaching GCSE maths. My teaching style in sessions would be demonstrating how to gain as many marks as possible with effective exam style answers. I have been working with all secondary school years, years 7 to 11, since 2017. I have an abundance of experiance with all abilities and levels in this age range. I have the ability to adapt my lessons for all students that I would tutor. I am highly experienced with GCSE exam preparation for both the higher and foundation papers. I have a bank of past papers that I will share with my students. I will be available for messages throughout the week, so students can message me with questions they may have. I have had several years experience teaching Classics in the UK and am now completing my MA in Classics alongside my full time work as a Classics teacher in south London. As a key member I have been developing our provision so we now offer A Level Classical Greek for the first time in several years! One of the areas I particularly enjoy working in is successfully supporting young students as they prepare for entrance exams with previous experience in particular for St Pauls Boys and Winchester College. If required, I can also provide lessons, tutoring, or general support in English and History, if needed.
My A Level classes of 2022 all scored highly in their exams - 100% A*s in Latin and 100% A-C in Classical Civiliation.
In 2023, my GCSE and A Level classes continued to excel despite the return to 2019 standards and reduction in exam support from the boards, and I am incredibly proud of them all:

Terms and conditions
I pride myself on building up a good working relationship with my clients. Since tutoring is normally for a period of some months as examinations approach and in the interests of fair play for both parties, I've set out some key points regarding charges and cancellations during the tutoring period.
Charges
A-Level sessions are delivered online weekly via Teams in one-hour blocks. Charges reflect my qualifications, experience and the way my sessions are tailored to each individual student’s needs, making them highly effective at boosting learning, confidence and grades. Knowing all the misconceptions and pitfalls on content and structuring examination questions makes all the difference and it is vital that tutoring is effective for the student.
I am happy to offer each new client one free initial assessment and discussion session to assess the needs and type of help required plus it gives you a chance to see how I work and fit in with your requirements. There is no obligation on either side to continue after this first session.
Cancellations Policy
Once a regular slot has been booked for the student, the same time every week, I will endeavour always to be available to tutor them. There is scope for discussion if a session needs to be rearranged (24 hours requested), subject to my availability.
From time to time, flexibility on both sides is required due to life events and unexpected occurrences. This may involve cancellation of a particular session or the need to reschedule and I will always try to accommodate if I can do so.

Vira started play violin at the age of 7. She finished musical school and after in 2004 she entered musical college named after D. Sichynskyi (Ivano-Frankivsk). She has a bachelor degree in violin received at National Music Academy of Ukraine (Kyiv) where she studied with prof. B. Kotorovich and Certeficate from Ecole Normale de Paris Alfred Cortot (Paris) where her teacher was prof. A. Goulard.
Vira won numerous national and international competitions,participated in violin masterclasses with such renown violinists as Z. Bron, O. Parkhomenko, K. Schatz. She had played with Symphony orchestras in Ukraine. She worked in Ivano-Frankivsk Philarmonic Symphony Orchestra from 2019 to 2021 (Ukraine).
She performed as a soloist and chamber musician in such countries as Ukraine, Poland, France, UK, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Spain. She participated in numerous musical festivals "Prykarpatska Vesna", "GogolFest" (Ukraine), "Finca Ustus Franz"(Spain), Landesmusicakademie Ochsenhausen (Germany).
Starting from 2016 she created chamber music progect "Concert-Classic" for performing music with collegues, firstly in Kyiv and after in London. She and team organised around 20 concerts in Ukraine an 2 in London. Project was recognise by Elle l'Ukraine and L'Officiel Hommes.
I have been a qualified teacher since 2003 and have held various posts such as Department Head, assistant Head and head of 6th form.
I specialise at all levels and abilities, including all aspects of SEN, including ASD. I built my own teaching facility and this can cater for 4 students at a time, if need be.
