I originally trained and worked as a secondary school English teacher, but I found the pressure in schools led to teachers being overwhelmed with paperwork and the teaching element almost became a lesser priority. Now I prefer to focus on private tuition where my primary aim is teaching and enabling students to achieve. At Perfect Plus Tutoring, we strive to create an academic atmosphere which is enjoyable as well as beneficial. I offer private tuition to students in North Kent, Medway and Maidstone areas.

I am an experienced teacher of languages and a native speaker of Spanish. I am also fluent in French, which I have taught up to GCSE. Prior to developing a career in teaching, I worked as a professional translator. I continue working as a Secondary School Languages Teacher and a Freelance Translator.
I have an excellent record of academic results and consistent progress across all Key Stages. My GCSE results have always been good to outstanding, ranging from 82 to 100% on former grading A* to C and 9-4 in current GCSE gradings with groups of various abilities. I have 100% success rate with A level Groups.
I always strive to deliver lessons that are engaging, and which develop independence and confidence, as these are essential skills in the development of language learning.
I am also an External Examiner for the Speaking and Writing Papers with one of the main examination boards. I am currently certified as an Examiner for the DELE (Diploma como Español Lengua Extranjera) with the Instituto Cervantes for levels A1-A2 and B1-B2.
All lessons are planned and delivered by a seasoned MFL Teacher who has worked in several schools (primary and secondary) in Buckinghamshire and Kent. The offer brings a wide range of private lessons (Year 7 to Year 13) in French and Spanish.
I am a native speaker of French (born and raised there) and an almost native speaker of Spanish (Mother and extended family). My teaching focuses on grammar and language manipulation and one of my strength is building very good relationship with his students very quickly.

/ School Spangles Spanish Courses
Spangles has been successfully running Spanish courses for adults, teenagers and children in Kent since 2005. Spangles Spanish lessons are focussed on conversation and culture. Our well-structured courses are reinforced with audio tracks to assist adults and teenagers with speaking and listening.
Each child is awarded a vocabulary picture-sheet at the end of each lesson and everyone can access the interactive games on this website to assist with learning.
We teach in Kings Hill on Mondays, Bexley on Tuesdays, Sandling on Wednesdays, Maidstone on Fridays, Detling on Saturdays.
