My methodology is tailored to each student needs and the progress is monitored regularly. I am very confident with the methods I use as I tutor at different levels which means I can choose the right level based on student needs. I always follow a simple approach in teaching Maths I teach in a clear simple style and I make sure the student understands by testing.
I plan my lessons in advance based on student needs! I am flexible, I can do practice based on exam papers for higher levels or I can also do individual lesson plans for any topic on lower levels. I am confident with all levels.
For each lesson I send notes and I also provide workbooks and homework !
In my free time I enjoy going to the gym. I also enjoy decorating my flat and also cooking!
I originally trained and worked as a secondary school English teacher, but I found the pressure in schools led to teachers being overwhelmed with paperwork and the teaching element almost became a lesser priority. Now I prefer to focus on private tuition where my primary aim is teaching and enabling students to achieve. At Perfect Plus Tutoring, we strive to create an academic atmosphere which is enjoyable as well as beneficial. I offer private tuition to students in North Kent, Medway and Maidstone areas.

As an advocate of student-centered learning and technology integration, I am optimistic that learners will discover their real fortes and capabilities as they become engaged in their learning to discover and create new knowledge. I am grateful for checking out my profile. Mathematics is one of the subjects I enjoy tutoring. I am committed to helping students whichever way I can. At high school, I was very good in Mathematics namely A-level, further Maths etc. I studied Actuarial Science in my first degree which entails Maths, finance, statistics, insurance and some computer modules. I have experience in formal tutoring for many years years. I tutored some of my classmates and other students. Currently, I am studying a Masters’ degree in Actuarial Science at Heriot-Watt University. Topics such statistics, probability, calculus, algebra etc. are all quite easier for me to teach. I enjoyed from my previous tutoring experience since it helped students achieve their goals. Maths seems difficult since it takes a lot of time and energy. Many people are not able to keep up the pace with Maths lesson and thereby fall behind. Foundation is the key, without the right one students pursuing more complex concepts are doomed to face difficulties at some point. I encourage my students and assure them that there is still a chance. I take my time to discuss issues with my students concerning subject areas. It will enable me to know the appropriate learning style to use. It will also help me know the way they think and learn.
