I have taught in schools as a senior leader for over 20 years and have been an examiner for the Edexcel and AQA exam boards for over 15 years. Hi, my name is Vicky and I'm an ex-head of science at a secondary school in London. I have also been a tutor for the last 4 years. I've been teaching for just over 6 years with experience on multiple exam boards and teaching all specialisms of science. I am currently teaching myself how to code and looking for a career change, however, I am still tutoring as I love how rewarding it is!
I gained my PGCE in 2017 and started my role as a science teacher in July 2017. I have taught all three sciences for both AQA and Edexcel, and chemistry up to A-Level. I have also worked as an examiner for both AQA and Edexcel, giving me priceless experience and insight into getting marks in exams! My undergraduate studies in Belarus have covered a wide range of the content involved in teaching further mathematics at A Levels, and my postgraduate studies broadened my knowledge in higher university mathematics. Furthermore, I followed a Diploma course" Teaching Russian as Foreign a Language", which gave me further insight into teaching.
