I have a passion for the study of languages and enjoy sharing this with people. I enjoy both ancient and modern languages, having studied Ancient Greek at a lower level and Spanish and Latin at a high level. I love teaching and working with young people and believe that cultural and linguistic immersion is the best way to learn a language. I am predicted 3 A*s in A level Spanish, Philosophy and Latin and will be taking my A levels this June (2025). I am going to the University of Edinburgh in September to study Spanish and beginners Arabic. I will tutor GCSE, Year 12 and below students in Spanish. I teach in reference to the specification that the student is studying, looking at speaking, reading, listening and writing in particular, depending on what the student is struggling with. I have experience tutoring at my school and in my local community. I have tutored children with special needs and can adapt my lessons in this way if necessary. I can also tutor Latin and Religious Studies/Philosophy up to GCSE level. I am flexible around prices and timings of lessons, please do contact me for further enquiry. I am happy to teach from anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours. I will use and reference the relevant textbooks and materials based on the individual student.
