I have been tutoring maths, physics & chemistry GCSE/ A-Level and adult learners, for over 8 years, and have helped many students improve their exam results.
I have written over 20 books too (available on kindle or in paperback), mostly maths books.
I usually visit students in their homes, but also do lessons via Whatsapp (which works great as we can have phone and laptop open at the same time and send documents). During the Corona-virus shutdown, all lessons will be done via Whatsapp with payment via bank transfer please.

I`ve been a qualified teacher for 15 years, with 4 years being head of Key Stage 3 and previously head of maths for 10 years in both state and independent settings. I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2006 with an engineering degree before completing my PGCE in mathematics. I worked as a coastal defence engineer for 2yrs before returning to teaching. I am currently a qualified and experienced Science teacher, teaching GCSE and A-Levels in a top Secondary School in Berkshire. I have graduated with a BSc degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London, which included an in-depth study of topics such as: Organic Chemistry, Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Quantum Chemistry and Biochemistry. At school, I always found it frustrating when a teacher would simply give us the basic information and expect us to just blindly memorise it! This always presented problems in exams when the question was more out-of-context. So, I want to try to help students get a really strong and thorough understanding of any topic they struggle with, so that they can smash those tricky exam questions which ask for more than just 'basic recall' of information! Understanding is far more effective and time-efficient than memorisation. With this, I hope students can achieve their maximum potential and achieve high grades.
