Psychology Tutor, Teacher
I'm a trainee secondary Geography teacher, currently studying at UCL’s Institute of Education while teaching full-time on placement. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As someone with ADHD and dyspraxia, and with close family experience of autism, I truly understand that every student learns differently. My aim is to help everyone achieve their academic potential, and show anyone with additional barriers in their way that they can succeed in a world not designed for them.
I achieved top grades in school, including an A* in English Literature, an A in Geography, a B in Psychology, and strong results across core subjects like Maths and Science.
I bring patience, empathy, and vast creativity to my sessions, adapting my teaching style to suit each individual. Whether you or your child needs help catching up, boosting their exam skills, or just gaining self confidence, I provide a calm, supportive space to learn and grow.
Im very flexible with location, provided i have a car and a 3 minute walk to the Piccadilly line.
Would love to hear from anyone looking to grow their academic or personal skills!

NHS Doctor with over 10 years of experience studying and completing exams and over 7 years teaching Maths, Biology and Chemistry for KS3, GCSE and A Level. My tuition approach is listed below.
Each lesson begins with a run-through of the topic and explanation of key concepts with opportunities for pupils to ask questions. Students are then provided with high yield exam questions and worksheets to complete. Questions are then marked together to highlight areas of strength and areas of improvement. An emphasis is always maintained on exam technique during each lesson. Assessments to determine student improvement are provided every 4-6 weeks.
All students are taught how to study effectively using two evidence-based study techniques:
1) Active Recall - Here students create useful revision questions to test their memory of certain topics
2) Spaced Repetition - Here students are taught how to strategically review topics regularly and boost their chances of remembering important exam content throughout the year and leading up to exams.
My classes are always tailored with a personalised programme for each and every student and remain friendly and engaging. All resources including specialised notes for each exam board, revision questions and exam question related to the tutees exam board are provided free of charge. Tuition goes beyond the `hour slot` as students are able to contact me via phone, email and tutor hunt messaging. I also remain engaged with the lesson and do not `clock-watch`.
For 2023, I now have a team of dedicated tutors offering tailored approaches to tuition. Please get in touch if you have any questions or preference for female tutors as this can be organised too.
Thank you for all enquiries currently, we are organising classes as soon as possible.
Spring an Summer Booster Courses will be available upon request.

Hi, I'm Josh and I recently completed my IB Diploma programme at Wellington College. Over my 2 year course, I had a determinant interest in Psychology. I spent most of my time on this subject, researching the best ways to revise it and how to learn the content within it. I entered many essay competitions during this time too in order to expand my knowledge into different psychological areas. I plan to share and help others who are struggling to revise specifically in psychology, like I had struggled with towards the beginning of my journey with IB Psychology.

I'm a passionate and experienced psychology tutor with a strong academic background and a proven track record of helping students succeed. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Roehampton, where I earned a Merit and achieved Firsts in several modules, particularly excelling in presenting complex research findings — a testament to my clear communication skills and ability to simplify challenging concepts.
My tutoring experience includes working one-on-one with A-Level students, including helping a student improve from a U/E grade to a solid C — a transformation driven by targeted support, empathy, and practical strategies. I’ve also published academic research in the Surgery Open Science journal, highlighting my academic rigour and deep understanding of scientific methodology.
With 10 A*s at GCSE, 3 As at A-Level (including Psychology), and years of experience as a teaching assistant — including working with students with special educational needs — I bring both academic excellence and a supportive, adaptable teaching style. I'm also confident in tutoring science subjects and working with learners who may need extra patience and tailored approaches.
If you're looking for a knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated tutor who can help make psychology engaging and accessible, I’d love to support your learning journey.

Having just completed my A levels this summer, I can offer up-to-date lessons with a thorough grasp of the current curriculum, along with a wealth of practice exam questions and revision resources. I'm excited to further develop my tutoring skills, having previously taught Gujarati lessons to children aged 5 to 7 and helping children in my sixth form with homework. Now, I'm eager to expand my teaching abilities by offering personalized tutoring sessions in my A level subjects. I tailor my sessions to each student's needs, focusing on the topics they want to cover and building their knowledge according to the subject specification. After we have made a thorough plan, we go through content and exam questions and answers to ensure students are confident when entering the exam hall! Please feel free to contact me—I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I tutor:
AQA French (up to GCSE. I achieved a GCSE grade 8)
AQA Spanish (up to GCSE. I achieved a GCSE grade 8)

As a Neuroscience graduate,I always loved learning, and I started tutoring to relay my love for science and learning to others, and allow them to find enjoyment in the process.
I love keeping active, I develop this by running and going to the gym. With this, I have completed a Level 3 Personal Training Qualification, to again relay my love for exercise and help others achieve their fitness goals.
With some trials and tribulations in my educational journey, I believe I have a realistic outlook on furthering your education. I developed and altered my methods of learning, and so I will make sure to share the tips I have learnt along the way with my students. My favourite part of being a tutor is building a relationship with my students and watching their academic growth, turning their academic journey into something they can be proud of!
Students will usually give me a guideline and information on what they feel they struggle with. Thus, as lessons go on and we get comfortable I identify any gaps in their knowledge. Here, I will ensure them that we will work together to conquer difficult tasks, and improve their confidence.
It has been proven very effective to walk through past papers with students and it really maximizes their learning! With this, as we do past papers I identify strengths and weaknesses where I can triage what needs to be covered in more detail. We can also do revision sessions or I can fully re-teach topics to make sure they are happy with the content, which we can then apply to exam questions, as questions are imperative to achieving those high marks.

Please contact me at my email ***@*** for lesson enquires. I teach GCSE and ALEVEL Biology as well as ALEVEL Psychology. Every session will be tailored towards the needs of the student. I will start with a scope of the general grasp the student has of the subject in order to create a plan to improve grades. I will provide notes, questions and papers that are organised myself. If needed, I can also help students formulate a revision plan to maximise study time and take some stress off students during the revision period. I can also provide some help towards medical school application such as some consultation or analysis as to which medical school to apply to with the student’s unique statistics. I can also help with personal statements and UCAT and BMAT preparation. I am a medical student at Barts and the London (Queen Mary University of London). I know exactly how stressful it can be to go through GCSEs, Alevels and the application process to medical school. So I’m here to provide any help I can to ease the process a little and maybe make it a bit more enjoyable and manageable. I can help simplify complex topics and provide easier ways to remember difficult concepts and theories.
