Every child deserves an opportunity to reach their maximum potential. In addition to focusing on a child`s academic progress, I always look for opportunities to boost their confidence and self-esteem - as these are crucial for a holistic development. Difficult concepts are broken down in smaller ones through scaffolding using different techniques differentiated according to each child`s individual need. It is important to push each child past their comfort zone, and I do exactly that with the students I tutor by challenging them in different ways. I tutor children across the primary phase, all the way from teaching how to read and write in English, to solving complex problems in Maths, to preparing them for their upcoming SATs or 11+ exams.
I tailor my lessons to cater for each child's individual needs. I have a gentle and friendly approach towards children and I always look for ways to help them make connections between the things they learn and for them to develop a love for learning. I believe that every child is truly special and unique. I have successfully tutored children with specific learning needs, as well as children that have English as an additional language. All my students have made excelled progress in their studies, therefore most of my students come from personal recommendations of happy parents :)

I have been teaching Arabic for 30 years at different levels. I specialise in Egyptian Arabic, Levantine Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic.
My teaching is communicative and I have published a number of coursebooks.
I am a fully qualified Pharmacist and hold an MA in International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with a focus on Security and Diplomacy. Have been a researcher at the Mitvim Institute for Regional Foreign Policies since 2015. I hold a second master's degree, Executive MSc studies from the LSE, in International Strategy and Diplomacy. During my studies, I served as the Head of the Foreign Policy Committee in the LSE Policy Society. I have worked as a Research Assistant with Dr. Dafna Golan-Agnon in the Minerva Human Rights Fellowship program and with Dr. Sigal Horovitz in the Program for Transitional Justice at the Minerva Center for Human Rights. In 2014-15, I took a key role in facilitating the 'Ridgefield Group' which wrote and published the vision document of a shared society model in Israel, an initiative of the Fletcher School of Diplomacy at Tufts University. I am currently qualifying as a personal performance coach and will be happy to coach you achieve your goals quickly and effectively. At college, I was able to achieve several distinctions there. I got the Ajk state scholarship stipends every year. I was a best horse rider, record holder of Javelin throw of 90 meters and a runner up in inter-collegiate Bilingual-Declamation contest in 2013 as a English speaker.
