I am passionate about teaching mathematics. I have an in-depth understanding of teaching A Level and GCSE Mathematics. I am capable of delivering a dynamic and effective lesson to the full age and ability range of all the students. The ability to bond with my students enables me to reach them and always challenge them to work to the best of their abilities. I have a high degree of understanding and good communication skills. I am compassionate with my students when they are down and celebrate with them when they are up. I have inspired and motivated students of all abilities and the majority of my students have achieved to the best of their abilities in their final examinations. The ability to teach using diverse methods and adapt to needs of each of my students enabled the students to excel in mathematics.
I currently work in a secondary school in the West Midlands and have been teaching all 3 disciplines for many years. I am a very experienced teacher with an excellent record of pupil acheivement. I believe that any pupil can do well and make excellent progress if they are taught not only the correct knowledge and content for the exam board but also the skills needed to answer GCSE questions in the exam. I attend exam board hub meetings regularly and keep up to date with any changes and recommendations from previous examinations. This information is crucial to pass on to pupils so that they know what the exam questions are asking and how to create a response which will score maximum marks in their examination. I am very organised and enjoy planning creative activities which ensure maximum progress for pupils.

Hi! I'm a recent graduate of the University of Manchester with a first class masters degree in Physics with Theoretical Physics. I enjoy maths and physics academically, as well as helping others learn more about both! I believe that education should be accessible to everyone, and strive to ensure you get more than your money's worth with me.
I offer tutoring online across the UK, as well as in-person in the Harborne area of Birmingham. Online tutoring sessions can be recorded for you to refer back to for revision, and can be conducted through Zoom, Skype, or Discord.
As someone who recently went through the education system, I understand the importance of learning resources and practice questions. Because of this I offer resources to my students to both learn from and practice with at no extra cost. I believe a healthy discussion about topics helps us to understand where the pitfalls in our understanding are, and how we can go about fixing them.
I believe in putting the student first, and so I make myself available at all times to my students if they need guidance between sessions, or to request topics for the next session. I can also offer exam technique guidance, as well as marking past papers and providing feedback.
Ultimately, I listen to my tutees and encourage them to ask questions about anything!
