I studied classical vocal technique for 15 years with Howard Milner, and supplemented this with private language training (French and Russian), repertoire coaching with Floral Opera, Summer International Summer Music school (four years) and further training with Jeffrey Talbot and Neil Howlett. I worked as Area Leader for Sing Up in Lincolnshire and I am the visiting singing teacher at two independent prep schools and two secondary academies. I have performed in professional opera companies in the UK, and performed recitals and gala concerts throughout the UK and in Northern Italy. I teach classical styles, as well as music theatre, jazz, folk, pop/rock.
I graduated a with a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Birmingham, and can tutor chemistry, physics and mathematics in addition to music.
If you're thinking of starting dancing, getting fit through dance, just like to rehearse or you have a group who are looking for studio hire or even some space to hold functions in Batley, then just contact The Sarah T. School of Dance.
Having studied Musical Theatre since the age of 15, I am now graduated from a prestigious London drama school, signed with an agent and am beginning the process of entering the industry. I wouldn't be where I am today without my teachers and tutors and I want to pay that forward to help young people achieve their creative goals. I like to work very personally, so we will sit down in our first session and discuss your personal goals, I will then work with each individual student to reach those goals. I'm willing to give anything a go, as long as you are. Let's work hard and have fun!
