Currently, I am working in a local secondary school teaching Mathematics up to GCSE level. I have been teaching there for over 5 years. Within these 5 years, I have also worked within the pastoral team.
I also have experience of teaching GCSE Business Studies. My degree is in Business Management, so I do have the knowledge to teach up to KS5 in this particular subject.
In previous schools, I have worked with small and large class sizes, specifically to ensure that they achieve a Grade 4/5 in their GCSE subject. I also have experience of working with pupils with SEMH and SEN.
I am very excited to tutor, having three A*s in my A-Levels and 9s in my GCSEs - I can pass on my learning and give aid with homework, revision, and teach from scratch.
I am an enthusiastic fully qualified teacher and enhanced DBS with a genuine passion for my subject and I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment by adopting a variety of teaching approaches. I aspire to motivate my students to achieve the best possible outcomes, regardless of ability, background or SEN status and particularly have experience of stretching and challenging the more able pupils.
I have taught at Queen Elizabeth School, Barnet, ranked as the top state school in the country, for the last 4 years including guiding many Oxbridge physics, natural sciences, medicine and engineering candidates. I have a degree in Automotive Engineering and a PhD in Racecar Aerodynamics both from Loughborough University, where I also taught undergraduate modules in Statics & Dynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Low Speed Aerodynamic, Ground Vehicle Aerodynamics and CAD. Prior to completing my PGCE I was a research engineer developing hydrogen fuel cell technology for a range of clean technology applications.
I have recently moved from London to Nottingham with my family and am available for tutoring of Science (KS3) and Physics (GCSE and A Level) online or in person.

Dr Atamgba A. is an accomplished university teacher with a rich interdisciplinary academic experience in Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition as well as Chemistry. He has taught various aspects of Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition, and Chemistry (both inorganic and organic). With over a decade of teaching and research, he has worked in various university environments, both public and private, across Nigeria and Uganda. Dr A. is known for his participatory teaching approach and effective use of various analytical tools. He has been an External Examiner both at the ordinary level (O-level)and university level. He also has significant industrial experience in vegetable oil and oily waste servicing industries, working in various capacities from Research and Development Chemist, overseeing the quality control unit to a Lead / Senior Operator of a Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU) plant used for the remediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated oily wastes. His Industrial experience adds practical insights to his academic expertise. His educational background includes a strong proficiency in the Russian language, gained during his studies in Ukraine. Dr A. has held various administrative roles such as Head of Department and Dean of Faculty, demonstrating his leadership and versatility in adapting to new academic trends.

I teach complete beginners right through to advanced level students with ages ranging from 6 upto 60.
Whatever your age and experience I have the tools and expertise to help you on your journey.
My favourite styles include gypsy jazz, heavy rock and classical but I have a soft spot for all types of music.
