I am very excited to tutor, having three A*s in my A-Levels and 9s in my GCSEs - I can pass on my learning and give aid with homework, revision, and teach from scratch.

Currently, I am working in a local secondary school teaching Mathematics up to GCSE level. I have been teaching there for over 5 years. Within these 5 years, I have also worked within the pastoral team.
I also have experience of teaching GCSE Business Studies. My degree is in Business Management, so I do have the knowledge to teach up to KS5 in this particular subject.
In previous schools, I have worked with small and large class sizes, specifically to ensure that they achieve a Grade 4/5 in their GCSE subject. I also have experience of working with pupils with SEMH and SEN.
I am an enthusiastic fully qualified teacher and enhanced DBS with a genuine passion for my subject and I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment by adopting a variety of teaching approaches. I aspire to motivate my students to achieve the best possible outcomes, regardless of ability, background or SEN status and particularly have experience of stretching and challenging the more able pupils.
I have taught at Queen Elizabeth School, Barnet, ranked as the top state school in the country, for the last 4 years including guiding many Oxbridge physics, natural sciences, medicine and engineering candidates. I have a degree in Automotive Engineering and a PhD in Racecar Aerodynamics both from Loughborough University, where I also taught undergraduate modules in Statics & Dynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Low Speed Aerodynamic, Ground Vehicle Aerodynamics and CAD. Prior to completing my PGCE I was a research engineer developing hydrogen fuel cell technology for a range of clean technology applications.
I have recently moved from London to Nottingham with my family and am available for tutoring of Science (KS3) and Physics (GCSE and A Level) online or in person.
I studied classical vocal technique for 15 years with Howard Milner, and supplemented this with private language training (French and Russian), repertoire coaching with Floral Opera, Summer International Summer Music school (four years) and further training with Jeffrey Talbot and Neil Howlett. I worked as Area Leader for Sing Up in Lincolnshire and am currently the visiting singing teacher for a large secondary academy in Nottingham as well as being a vocal tutor at University of Lincoln. I have performed in professional opera companies in the UK, and performed recitals and gala concerts throughout the UK and in Northern Italy. I teach classical styles, as well as music theatre, jazz, folk, pop/rock.
I graduated a with a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Birmingham, and can tutor chemistry, physics and mathematics in addition to music.

I am a fully qualified (QTS) secondary teacher of Biology with 9 years experience working in mainstream schools and I have been tutoring for the last 5 years. I have tutored GCSE and A level biology following the OCR and AQA specifications. I am passionate about my subject and provide a range of reources from past exam questions, experimental methods, animations and text books to enable students to fully understand the subject and for them to achieve thier best. I work on the basis of the students informing me what they would like to revise, go over or learn and plan acordingly for the following session, i can also help with homework set by the class teacher. I provide extra resources for the students to use after the tutoring session which we can go over the following session if they require it.
Working in secondary school almost 17 years (local school and overseas) granted me valuable opportunities to teach a variety of courses, including EAL English, Business Studies, Liberal Studies (Humanities), Economics, Geography and Integrated Business. Among the most satisfying experiences for me as a teacher has been instructing student to understand, analyze and practice their knowledge properly and successfully.
Through my teaching thus far, I have found the method of facilitating rather than dictating to be a highly beneficial style of teaching.
