Hello and welcome to Mr S. Maths!
I teach solely GCSE Maths. I've been teaching and tutoring Maths now for 10 years!
I own Mr S. Maths and I have a unique way I love to teach and tutor. Here's how it works
Step #1] Pre lesson videos. I record prelesson videos the prepare the students for the lesson. This is to get them up to the standard of our live lesson
Step #2] Weekly live lessons. I teach weekly live classes. I have lessons for foundation, for higher (grades 567) and for higher (grades 789). Each class focuses on a topic of the week going over as many exam questions as we can fit in!
Step #3] Weekly test. You will attempt a 10 mark test following the lesson.
Step #4] You will watch the video walkthrough of the test. This will allow you to mark and correct any mistakes
Step #5] You will log your scores to your personal log (that I provide) and this will now become your revision guide!
I am working with Tutor4All . We offer a range of tutoring services for GCSE's and A-level students. Our tutoring sessions are designed to be engaging, interactive and focused on student's specific areas of improvement. First Lesson is on Us!
Becoming a dynamic teacher has enabled me to differentiation my lessons by providing a more individual focus on students. This gives me greater ease in connecting with students and has created an increase in engagement during my lessons.

For the last 10 years, I have been working as a primary school teacher at an outstanding school.
I have over 15 years experience and have worked within many schools, two of which were long-term.
Over the years, my teaching career has allowed me to experience many different and difficult situations. These in turn have made me a more confident, organised, resourceful and experienced (in many years groups) teacher.
My current role is a Year 2 class teacher, however I have taught children from Nursery up to Year 6 as a cover teacher too.
I took part in the Government led school tutoring program, where I tutored 3 children from Year 2 in Writing. This has deepened my experience further, especially when assisting children to achieve the best they can.
I have carried out and planned for many 1:1 or group interventions in Maths and English to assist with our school's Covid catch-up program.

I am a father to two girls and work for National Express as a Part Qualified Financial Accountant. I have a first class degree in Mathematics and got a grade A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics in College.
After graduating I did a year of tutoring GCSE, A Level and Degree level Mathematics. I was a teaching assistant for half a year before I went into the world of finance.
