I am a private tutor at AK Positive Tutoring, where I provide personalized and engaging lessons to students of various ages and abilities, as well as a childcare professional, where I ensure the safety and well-being of children under my care. I have over five years of work experience in the education sector, and I hold multiple certifications in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities, child protection, and tutor qualifications. I also have a BA with Honours in Education from the University of Bedfordshire, and a background in STEM science. I am a qualified and passionate primary school teacher. I have experience teaching and tutoring across Key Stage 1 and 2. I love teaching, building positive relationships and making learning fun and accessible to everyone. Every child deserves the best start in life. I provide support across all of primary school across subjects as well as specific support in year 6 SATs, phonics, 11+ entrance exams, and SEN support. I tailor sessions to meet the exact needs. Hi, My name is Sarah and I am a qualified primary teacher/tutor in the Whittlesey/Peterborough area. I can offer online or face to face tuition in Maths (up to GCSE level) or English (KS1 and KS2) in either my own home, your home or a public place or online to suit your needs.
The sessions I offer are for the duration of an hour and I can work with you and your own needs to help you meet your own learning goals. I will take the time to assess your own learning needs and discover the gaps you need to fill to make optimum progress.

My university is in Ogun State, Nigeria. I am an experienced mathematics teacher with over 13 years of experience. I have prepared students for GSCE examination and it's equivalents.
I enjoy using my QTS to help people learn new skills which will enhance their lives. This may be to improve their ability in maths., their employment prospects or their ICT skills. In all cases, the teaching I provide may improve their quality of life.
My teaching philosophy is to try to spark interest in learners whilst retaining a clear goal: whether that be exam. success or a less formal, personal achievement. My substantial experience has been gained by working with primary, secondary school pupils and adults. Some of these learners have presented with special educational needs to which I have been able to adapt.

I mainly teach KS3 and KS4 Maths but I also have experience on A level Mathematics, I was Head of Department in two schools and Lead Practitioner on my previous one/ Currently and due to family circumstances, I teach in a local school KS3 and KS4 Maths.
I am from Spain and although I have not taught the language in schools, I can help with conversation work.
