During last more than 10 years I have first hand teaching experience in the University in the UK and Canada. I have PhD in Aerospace engineering and had worked before at Pratt and Whitney Canada which is an aircraft engine manufacturer. Also, I have strong experience on online tutoring on engineering subjects, physics and maths. I can confidently explain mathematical and scientific principles and concepts using diagram and formula on digital white boards. I was also qualified by the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching (PGCE). And, I am a Chartered Engineer (CEng) as a member of Institution of Mechanical Engineer (IMechE) in the UK. I have been teaching Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Dynamics, Heat Transfer in undergraduate degree program as well as Physics, Maths and Enigineering Science in Foundation program. Thus, I have both teaching experience as well as practical experience. From my strong experience I am confident on my teaching approach and able to understand well various students thoughts and needs.

I specialise in working with students on a 1-on-1 basis, easing and tackling individual areas of difficulty at their appropriate pace – something that can be difficult to receive in the standard school environment. My teaching approach is adaptive upon students’ own learning attitude, thus, presenting resources in various ways. It is focused on fostering a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of a topic, before applying that knowledge to solving questionnaires. I also specially aid with exam preparation to share my own unique methods of working and exam techniques/tips. Ultimately, I aim to develop one’s self-esteem and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.
I have taught a wide age group from 5 to 24, which my past tutor sessions were based on creativity of my hobbies such as art, which always worked absolutely well since when I was a GCSE student.
I have many experiences working with children, especially with spending my work experience as an assistant in a primary school class, I was able to interact and deal with various situations to keep the children calm, focused and motivated. As a school tutor, I utilised my organisational skills to collect resources and investigated various methods of teaching to find the most efficient way to deliver difficult contents, suiting the students’ own learning attitude appropriately. I am someone who has academically succeeded highly through UK national curriculum. I have passion towards mathematics thus, I have participated and have been awarded many times for UKMT, and moreover, for Chemistry and Physics Olympiad challenges as Gold and Bronze respectively. Studying both the English Language, Literature and Drama at A-Level has helped me gain critical analysis, research, and essay-writing skills. Studying Drama has had a huge impact on my life. For our devised performance, we decided to concentrate on women and how they are degraded and disrespected. Our piece was dedicated to women killed due to male violence. Drama has given me the skills for teaching as it has taught me how to deal well with ever-changing circumstances, teamwork, and keep myself and others motivated. Not everything always goes according to plan; therefore, being able to adapt to different situations is highly useful. I believe that keeping motivated is vital in education; when someone does not have any motivation, it can take a toll on others around them, too. I have a positive personality that can captivate individuals effectively while maintaining a professional manner. I was a part of the RAFAC for 4 years, encouraging me to strive for perfection. During these years, I completed several coa singer and leader, devising myurses, including leadership, health and safety, first aid, cyber and radio and DofE; these have all helped me to learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, mental agility, and the importance of being a respectful, upstanding member of the community.
I am a university trained Maths teacher, who has worked in many local Derby schools. I am currently working at Derby College teaching A-level and Core Maths 3 days a week. I have tutored several GCSE students, who have achieved a passing grade. I am available for lessons throughout the day on a Wednesday and Friday during term time.
