I went into teaching as it has always been my passion to try to make a difference in children's lives.
After careful consideration I decided to leave mainstream education and set up my own learning centre using kinaesthetic activities with play therapy.
The centre also offers meditation in order to promote wellbeing in body, mind and spirit.
I believe children are all individual and no two children are the same.
My motto is "when a flower doesn't bloom you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower"

As a passionate licensed teacher, my primary goal is to motivate and guide students to achieve excellence and exceed their own personal limits using diverse up-to-date pedagogical strategies.
I am currently a PhD student in Education at the University of Bath, Bath Somerset.
I worked as an ESL and SEN Teacher for the past 5 years in Japan teaching both online and in-person, after concluding a post-graduate educational research program at Naruto University of Education, Japan. I also have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education degree (National Teachers' Institute, Nigeria) and a www.*** in Botany (Second Class Upper Honors) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University , Awka, Nigeria.
Prior to that, I had taught for five years at The Centagon International School (TCIS), Abuja and for two years at Rainbow International College, Surulere, Lagos.
In addition to striving to instill a love of learning and making learning exciting and interesting, I utilize activities according to curriculum requirements, and expand on previous knowledge while encouraging students to explore new and interesting possibilities. I also spur students to construct their own learning in an environment that stimulates and helps them realize their full potential.
Having taught in international multicultural schools, I have had some excellent results with a wide range of learners who had had a history/background of 'not-so-good' performance in Math, English and Sciences. A good number of my students who had challenges in core aspects now hit on-levels and above-levels with ease, confidence, and delight.
With lots of experience preparing children for 7+,11+ and 13+ exams, I intend to combine my wealth of teaching experience with my ability as a compassionate, enthusiastic, innovative teacher in order to help your child achieve and exceed their goals.
I look forward to the opportunity of meeting with you!

I am an appointed Advanced Level Mathematics Examiner for 2015-2024. I have successfully marked the 2023 Pure Maths EDEXCEL Paper One.( I have a certificate from EDEXCEL to confirm my successful marking of A Level Maths (MECHANICS ) from 2015 to 2018 )
My accuracy as an examiner has given me team leader status.
I am an Enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics, Further Maths and Physics to Advanced Level-and beyond.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and help students to fulfil their true potential. I keep up to date with Physics news.
I was a tutor at Wiltshire College for 14 years, then taught Mathematics and Science in the field of Military Science at MOD for another 14 years to 2012. This has given me a superb appreciation of the practical applications of my subjects in many situations. For example Doppler Radar and sensor circuits to identify speed and direction of enemy targets.
I have experience of being an Examiner and Moderator in A Level Physics too.
My DBS Certificate has been renewed from 6th August 2023
I use ZOOM Pro for ONLINE lessons :
I also use BITPAPER which keeps all the lessons taught in one place. It’s a really innovative resource sharing environment that will cost you nothing. The student gains possession of lessons that can be referred to for revision and reinforcement of concepts.
I prefer tutoring in Advanced Level Maths/Further Maths/Stats/Physics.
Any exam Board for Physics : Edexcel, AQA, OCR WJEC
For MATHS ..I prefer EDEXCEL Board because that is my examining board and I examine for this board.
I am retired as a teacher, Si I have plenty time to prepare excellent lessons.
I expect students to do extra work which I will mark and give feedback to student and parent.
Morning tutorials are really best for me but I realise students are at school

I have just finished my second year of undergraduate studies in physical natural sciences at Cambridge, on course for a first-class degree and continuing with physics and maths next year. I am an enthusiastic tutor with experience teaching A-level physics, chemistry and maths. I focus on building a strong subject knowledge base with a view to improving exam grades. I tutor physics, maths, further maths and chemistry at GCSE and A level. I believe that time effective revision is key to exam succes; I plan to teach students the techniques that I used to achieve straight 9s at GCSE and straight A*s at A level. I greatly enjoy discussing science and maths and believe that this is another crucial element of engaging tuition.
