I am a friendly and engaging online tutor who has had experience tutoring and working with children ages 7-18.
At GCSE, I achieved grade 9s and 8s, including a grade 9 in Edexcel iGCSE mathematics.
At A-Level, I achieved 3 As, including an A in Edexcel A-level mathematics.
I am 45 years old with 21 years experience of Science and Maths teaching aged 8-16 and an experienced tutor of Maths and English am able to offer individual private tuition in Maths, English (including reading), Science and 11+ entrance exams.
I am able tutor Maths and English to KS3 level and Science (combined or separate Sciences) to GCSE.
During the last 15 years, I have provided tuition to many students across a wide range of ages and abilities with excellent results both in terms of increased attainment, enthusiasm and enjoyment of their learning. As a result I have received several glowing testimonials from parents. I always have high expectations of students in my care, regardless of their ability or age.
I am also an experienced KS2, KS3 and GCSE Science examiner, currently working and assessing both Year 10 and Year 11 GCSE examinations. I enjoy my teaching and I always try to ensure learning takes place in a relaxed and focussed situation. I am able to work in the student’s home subject to mutual availability, I have also tutored very succesfully online for over 6years both nationally in the UK and internationally with a variety of students. I am currently available some evenings depending on work and family life and weekends on a Saturday - this availability changes as people book in for lessons on a first come first served basis.

I love to work with kids and have previosly tutored both my younger brothers and a few family frieds aswell so i am experienced aswell as that i have also reseived excelents on my S. A. Hello and welcome to Connect Maths Tutor. I am Viviane D. and a qualified Secondary Maths teacher of 14 years. I have considerable experience in supporting students across KS3 and preparing students to sit KS4 Maths GCSE 9-1 specification Higher/foundation.
Having acquired substantial experience of working with a significant range of students and abilities, I understand fully the barriers to learning in Maths. I can therefore advise on areas where common misconceptions occur, showing alternative methods to answer popular topics and advise on exam techniques.
I now tutor one to one with students in order that I can make a real difference to their confidence and performance in Maths. At times this can be difficult to achieve in a classroom environment. My tutoring style is both structured, relaxed and supportive. I will establish early on a student's individual proficiency so that they are educated at an adapted and bespoke level.
I offer online tuition or group tuition at a reduced rate for similar ability students. I also hold a current enhanced DBS certificate. I currently have a few available slots to start immediately. Please note that my rates are negotiable but start from £25 per hour per student for GCSE and £30 an hour for A-level, based on one student coming to my house. If you live within a 15 minute drive of my house my typical rate is £25-£30 (GSSE) or £30-35 (A-Level) if I travel to you .However, if there are 2 or more students the rate per student can be reduced (eg I currently tutor two students together and charge £40 for an hour, which equates to £20 per student)

I am O. Olayemi, a registered engineer at the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and PhD researcher in Aerospace Engineering at the prestigious Cranfield University, United Kingdom. I taught mathematics and further mathematics at the secondary school level for about 6 years and about 2years at the advanced level before moving to Kwara State University, Nigeria as a lecturer of Aerospace Engineering, where I taught advanced courses in basic and engineering mathematics, fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, and heat transfer for 10 years before moving to the UK. As a teacher/ lecturer, I have published over forty articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, Taylor and Francis among others.
