With a vast amount of experience working in a variety of schools and education settings, I have over 14 years of experience, with 10 of those working as a teacher and tutor. Specialising in Primary Maths, I work with small groups of children to increase their confidence and skill level through exam preparation and strategy led learning.

Hello, thank you for taking a careful look at my experience. I've taught for many years, many subjects, and in many countries. I've specifically taught preparation courses for the ACT and SAT, the American university entrance exams. I've also taught Chinese students to prepare for their highly competitive mathematics competitions. I've designed special course work, techniques, IEPs, and materials to meet a student's particular and profound learning disability (his mother said that of all the teachers, I made the most progress). My first tutoree came to me with an "F" in university calculus and I got her up to a "B-". I've taught all English levels and mathematical talents to students from all over Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. I know how to ask questions to reveal misconceptions and how to find evidence of understanding. I understand maths anxiety, how teach the approach to a problem and not just how to get an answer.
