I have been working with children since I was 17. And have been a qualified teacher for the past 5 years. I have a calming, fun nature and strive to bring the best out of children. I am adaptable and will adapt my teaching style to suit your child.
I am able to teach different age groups as I have experience with my own 5 siblings who are in different years and have great track record. Three of my siblings being in grammar schools. I am able to maintain a balance between a professional and a friendly relationship which is ideal for students especially younger ones.
Currently studying in my 3rd year at university pursuing an International Business degree, holding vast amounts of mathematic skills, and experience. Grades of a 7 at GSCE level and a C at A-level, I have a great passion for numeracy.
Mathematics was always a subject I enjoyed at school, whereby I could not only break down the question and effectively tackle problem solving, but i could also explain why to my fellow colleagues, showing an understadning of a wide variety of laws within mathematics such as algebraic rules.
Maths can be a diffuclt subject, and often a demoralsing one, but I have great passion to inspire young students to build on their confidence so maths becomes second nature! i would describe myself as a joyful character to be around who holds psychological techniques to motivate others, and I hope to help many students in achieveing the best out of theirselves!

I started working in a local secondary school 4 years ago initially as a TA helping children with autism and SEND. I then became a cover supervisor for a short period of time and am now a Teacher of Maths, which I have been doing for 2 years. In my first year of teaching my Year 11 class had a positive P8, which mean that all children achieved their target grade if not higher. Last year my whole department was rated best in the school with the best exam result.
