I am an award-winning and highly experienced "super" tutor and academic coach with over 15 years of tutoring, teaching and coaching experience, during which period I have made multiple students become university toppers and world prize winners. As for my own qualifications, I have a First Class Honours degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Doctorate in Engineering (Expertise: High-fidelity numerical simulations). As an undergraduate student at university, I was ranked number 1 with a cumulative average of 84%, for which I was honoured as the `Top Engineering Graduate`. NHS Doctor with over 10 years of experience studying and completing exams and over 7 years teaching Maths, Biology and Chemistry for KS3, GCSE and A Level. My tuition approach is listed below.
Each lesson begins with a run-through of the topic and explanation of key concepts with opportunities for pupils to ask questions. Students are then provided with high yield exam questions and worksheets to complete. Questions are then marked together to highlight areas of strength and areas of improvement. An emphasis is always maintained on exam technique during each lesson. Assessments to determine student improvement are provided every 4-6 weeks.
All students are taught how to study effectively using two evidence-based study techniques:
1) Active Recall - Here students create useful revision questions to test their memory of certain topics
2) Spaced Repetition - Here students are taught how to strategically review topics regularly and boost their chances of remembering important exam content throughout the year and leading up to exams.
My classes are always tailored with a personalised programme for each and every student and remain friendly and engaging. All resources including specialised notes for each exam board, revision questions and exam question related to the tutees exam board are provided free of charge. Tuition goes beyond the `hour slot` as students are able to contact me via phone, email and tutor hunt messaging. I also remain engaged with the lesson and do not `clock-watch`.

I tutor Spanish from KS1 until GCSE. Since I study Spanish at university, it stands as my speciality and I am capable of tutoring a variety of age groups. My personal style is to always try to translate maths into real world examples that you can relate to AND I try make the lessons funny (it is possible with maths!). The combination will help you remember what you have learnt.
As a natural extension of maths I can also help you with advanced MS-Excel techniques, basic computer science and iphone app development in Xcode & Swift.
In your first lesson we will find out about where you are at with maths and your areas of concern - and I'll explain about how I may be able to help you. We will immediately jump into 1 or 2 of your problem areas, so by the time we have finished the first lesson, you will know if I am going to be the right tutor for you.
I also promise you it will be fun from the word go :)
Pricing
Your first lesson will be free of charge, assuming it is online or in Windsor. Thereafter £22/hour. If I have to drive within 5 miles of Windsor, then it's £25/hour. Beyond that, while I'd like to help you, honestly it isn't worth it for me or you. In that case am sure you will find another good tutor closer.
