Hey there! I’m Giles, your go-to for all things religious studies. With a degree in Theology and a genuine passion for exploring the diverse beliefs that shape our world, I'm here to make learning engaging and enjoyable!
I believe that understanding religion is like uncovering a treasure chest of history, culture, and philosophy. Together, we'll dive into everything from ancient texts to modern practices, tackling big questions and sparking lively discussions along the way.
What can you expect from our sessions? Fun conversations, interactive activities, and maybe even a few debates! I love using videos, podcasts, and even some cool art to make our topics come alive.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me exploring local cultural events, catching up on the latest documentaries, or diving into a good book about spirituality or mythology. I’m all about making learning a journey of curiosity and excitement, and I can't wait to tackle this adventure with you!
Whether you’re prepping for an exam, curious about a specific topic, or just want to expand your understanding, I’m here to help you every step of the way. Let’s uncover the fascinating world of religion together and have a great time doing it!

I’m a Master’s degree graduate with a strong passion for the social sciences, offering tutoring in History, Religious Education, and Sociology. My experience as a supply teaching assistant has equipped me with the skills to support students of all abilities in the classroom. As someone with dyslexia, I understand the importance of accessible learning and use inclusive strategies to help students—particularly those with learning differences—build confidence and succeed.

Education is the liberating force of this world - I have used this to show my student what a great and wonderful world we live in. I see myself as professional with a diligent attitude towards work; I am also self motivated with strong interpersonal skills. I have highly developed skills in research and planning, along with this I am team player who is goal oriented. I seek to foster an environment in which my students perform at the highest. As a teacher of the humanities specializing in History, Geography and Social Studies/Sociology, my students benefit from being engaged in well rounded teaching and learning experience. This makes the classroom exciting and full of adventure, through the facilitation of critical and creative thought in my students. During my years in the classroom I have been engaged in continuous training and development both personally and professionally, these opportunities enhances my skill set tremendously.

Hello, My name is Elle. Thank you for taking the time to review my tutoring program.
A little about me:
I am a current undergraduate studying psychology at the University of Westminster.
I would love to work within clinical psychology as a career progression pathway.
I have always been a friendly and helpful person, as a result of this, I have opted into aiding young students within their education to overcome academic challenges and to offer guidance. Every child should have the right to education and to progress further and I am dedicated to provide my resources in line to achieve this.
Education and relevant experience :
I attended The John Roan school from year 7 through to year 11 where I underwent my GCSEs.
Maths - 5
English language-6
English literature-7
Science- 4-4
Health and Social Care- Distinction* Psychology - 8
History- 7
I went on to study my A levels at The Shooters Hill Sixth Form College. I took Psychology, Sociology and Politics where I attained BBC.
This then led me to where I am today. I am now in University looking to share my experience and knowledge with other students, to provide optimal support and success throughout.
From Pre-school to year 6, I had life-changing opportunity to learn British Sign Language as I attended a local school with a centre for young deaf students. In my most previous role working in a secondary school, I required to use this to aid learning in a resource base for deaf students and within mainstream lessons.
Working as a behaviour mentor/ teaching assistant allowed me to access a number of skills and resources to tailor every individuals needs. Most of my time at this role, I worked 1:1 with a student in year 9 with special educational needs (SEN) as well as mainstream students across year 7-11.
I have attached my CV and certifications on multiple files within my profile to review further job experience.
Thank you so much for your time.
kind regards,
Elle :)))

As well as tutoring, I have been a language teaching assistant at a Chinese summer school, taught English abroad, and delivered university seminars.
I am a Cambridge graduate with a PhD thesis at King`s College London in English Literature. I graduated from Kent College Pembury School for Girls in 2007 with straight A`s and A*s at both GCSE and A/AS-Level (English, Maths, Chemistry, French, Latin, History).
