Good afternoon to all,
My name is Rhian S., an A level student currently studying the subjects Maths, chemistry and biology, working towards a bright future in dentistry in Kings University Of London. I specialize in GCSE science, in which I achieved a 99, where I believe all students can achieve but must be taught the correct technique and application skills. Being one who finished there GCSEs not so long ago, I believe I have the essential tips and tricks that can help your child to excel catering to the new exam bores and requirements.
I believe I have structured lessons in a way which concisely hits exam requirements whilst also sharing exam technique tricks along the way that I have personally developed from my experience.
One thing I have learnt from mentoring students is the importance of communication whenever the student may need, even outside working hours, this is why I will have 24hour contact with my students to assist in any further questions outside tutoring hours. This may include homework help, questions by topic or feedback in general.
now the most important thing to success is routine. Each lesson will be strutted the same with 3 main protocols- learn, practice, apply. Where application will be specificity modified to fit various scenarios so your child to can put this to work independently during there exams!
My classes will be every Saturday morning from 10-11am or 10-12am including 24hour assistance

If you’re looking for a calm, committed, and caring tutor who will support your child every step of the way, I’d love to help. Get in touch, and let’s unlock your child’s full potential together.

Hi, I’m Hephzibah — a 2nd-year Medical Student at Imperial College London, currently ranked 2nd in the world (QS 2025). I tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, and I also support students applying to study Medicine in the UK.
I achieved a 9 in GCSE Biology and an A* in A-Level Biology with the Edexcel Salters-Nuffield board, which is known for being one of the most challenging. I also earned an A in A-Level Chemistry and a 9 at GCSE level. Studying Medicine has deepened my understanding of both subjects, especially the underlying mechanisms that make Biology come to life in real-world contexts.
Over the past two years, I’ve tutored over 30 students in Biology and Chemistry—both privately and through the tutoring company NX Tuitions. Many of my students have gone from struggling with grade 5s and 6s to achieving 8s and 9s at GCSE, and from stuck B grades to solid A and A* grades at A-Level.
My tutoring style is based on strategies I developed during my own revision. I kept detailed notes on what actually worked for me—from mastering timing to structuring exam answers—and now use that to help my students build confidence and real exam technique. They often tell me that I make complex ideas feel much simpler and easier to remember.
For GCSE students, I focus heavily on how to secure marks efficiently under time pressure. For A-Level students, I specialise in helping them break through the plateau at B grade, by improving both their scientific understanding and their approach to exam questions.
Alongside science tutoring, I also guide students through the Medicine application process, including personal statement writing and interview prep. I received offers from top universities like the University of Manchester and Imperial College London, so I know what it takes to stand out. I also work as an academic scholar supporting Austrian international students who are applying to study Medicine in the UK.
If you’re looking for someone who’s passionate about helping you genuinely improve—whether it’s mastering content, exam skills, or the path into Medicine—I’d love to support you on that journey.

As a Medical student at the Univeristy of Leeds, I am looking for some GCSE students that I can support along with my studies.
I am committed to my role as a tutor and am excited to help my students improve in their understanding of science as well as building their confidence.
I achieved a Grade 8 in all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) for GCSEs, and a Grade A* in Biology and Grade A in Chemistry for A-levels. I have a deep understanding of the courses as well as an improved knowledge of the mark schemes, which is essential for good exam technique.
I generally tutor online via platforms Zoom or Google Meet, as this allows me to reach a larger variety of students from different locations.

I have recently retired as Head of Chemistry in a successful Kent Grammar school, which has allowed me to focus on private tutoring. I have over 30 years experience of preparing exam students for the major exam boards, giving me a detailed knowledge of the requirements of the GCSE and A-Level syllabi. I use many and varied resources from books, notes and worksheets, to past papers and their markschemes, which I use to consolidate learning. I have also recently gained experience working online as a teacher at a leading Kent independent school, and have adapted many key resources for use online and with Google Classroom. My office is equipped with a visualiser webcam allowing me to demonstrate written work and diagrams or graphics, as well facilitating using a whiteboard for a more "traditional" approach to the online learning. COVID-19 Update: Please note that all face to face tuition is currently suspended, however I am more than happy to offer tuition via Zoom, Google Meet or Skype.

I remove mental road blocks by approaching difficult area from other directions, and by instilling the confidence to overcome obstacles. Tutoring sessions are customised to the individual student's needs, with revision strategies to maximise exam performance. Very good at motivating students, being enthusiastic and making the subject fun and exciting. The pace is customised to stretch the young people, while keeping within their comprehension zone. I have the ability to be able to explain complex things in a simple way.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Impacting lives through knowledge impartation has always been a passion. I'm a flexible young man who holds work duties in high esteem. I am a good communicator, leader , analyst, goal-oriented , tactful and inspire hope. My ambitious interest in imparting knowledge coupled with my readiness to work in your institution would be a unique and enriching experience for both parties. On coming across the teaching opportunity in an internet search, I decided to submit my application for a position in the science or mathematics department. I prioritised the following at my previous work post,
www.*** lesson plan and notes on the concepts of Chemistry and Integrated Science and Mathematics.
ii. adapting different methods to impart knowledge to students based on their individual abilities.
iii. assessing students comprehension of the subjects through quizzes, research works and exams.
In 2014 I led a group of final year students of Mother Smith International School to sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examinations which saw majority of them having a good grade to further their secondary education in top-notch senior high schools in our country, Ghana. At Joy Standard College where I had been for almost 4 years after my tertiary education, the Chemistry students I prepared for WASSCE did well in the exams compared to the general performance that had been achieved before my arrival. In the 2020 WASSCE 85% of the studies who wrote chemistry scored A1 to B3. This was indeed a great achievement on our part as teacher and www.*** 2022 WASSCE saw a high number of students getting good grades as well.
I am a teacher of the Word of God with the Assemblies of God Church and by the grace of God been able to author 2 books; Commitment, a charge to keep, and Quietness, an awesome language. I succeed in working independently and also enjoy sharing creative ideas with team members. I love to engage in research works as well. I believe in the power of the mind and I'm ready to join you so together we pursue the goal of imparting knowledge and life in our students; the future leaders.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Richmond www.***
