I have been coaching and mentoring for over 10 years and teaching for 6. I have a strong ability to motivate students academically and personally. At present, I am working with the AQA specification for GCSE and A-level - as such will be sticking to this within tutoring (I will not tutor OCR, WJEC or EDEXCEL - sorry). My specialism in tutoring approach is working with large amounts of information (making it stick with memory strategies) as well as developing stronger essay and argument skills. The core theories of the subject are revisited regularly and with emphasis. At minimum, I will tutor over a term - this will give enough time to build confidence in a skill, topic area or revision strategies.

I went into teaching as it has always been my passion to try to make a difference in children's lives.
After careful consideration I decided to leave mainstream education and set up my own learning centre using kinaesthetic activities with play therapy.
The centre also offers meditation in order to promote wellbeing in body, mind and spirit.
