I can teach Maths and Chemistry from KS2 to A level. I have been teaching since 1989. I have retired few years back from full time teaching.
After graduating with an honours degree in Mathematics, Zahra entered the hedge fund world where she studied for CIMA and CFA qualifications. During that time she also taught on a voluntary basis, before deciding to pursue teaching full time. She is a supportive and friendly teacher, who has taught GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics for over 10 years.
As well as teaching maths, Zahra is also responsible for the delivery of the Medical Programme designed for students applying for medicine, dentistry or veterinary science and specialises in training students for the UKCAT and BMAT exams.
I have won three awards for excellence and a superb tutor. In addition, I have successfully employed various teaching approach/ strategy when teaching and found that this led to many positive student outcomes, such as students getting A grades in A level Maths and Further Maths. I have experience in teaching KS2,11+, KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, IB and A Level maths online and face-to-face. I have worked as an examiner with various exam boards such as: Edexcel and AQA. I have worked as an examination officer and I entered students for WJEC, OCR, AQA, Edexcel and City and Guilds exams using SIMS.
I encourage learning by using different manipulatives, hands-on activities and technology. I utilise weekly tests to track students progress, locate areas of weakness and prepare students for final exams.
Being a versatile individual, I have had the opportunity to teach students who functioned below-, on- and above target grade. I have been very successful at accommodating diverse students needs by facilitating all styles of learners, offering individualised and integrating effective materials.

My approach is highly adaptable, tailored to accommodate the unique learning styles of each student. I believe in fostering understanding through clear, concise explanations, followed by structured problem-solving sessions to reinforce their understanding.

I always take a student-centered approach to teaching by asking students to bring their notes and talk me through the topics they feel are most difficult. My aim as your tutor would be to identify your strengths and weaknesses and build upon these appropriately. I would incorporate past paper questions very early in the curriculum to assess how well a child can apply their knowledge to answering exam questions. This will ensure that by the time the exams are sat the student will be fully prepared.

A dedicated and empathetic mathematics teacher with sixteen years of experience in Hong Kong and one year of experience in the UK. I have three years tutoring experience of GCSE and A Level Mathematics, as well as A Level Further Mathematics.
Aside from this, I have worked at King`s College London Mathematics School for nine years, teaching AS Computer Science as well as supporting students in admissions test preparation for Maths (i.e. the Oxford MAT and STEP papers). Before working in a school (during my PhD), I took on a range of tutorials for undergraduate mathematics students, mainly based on 1st and 2nd year modules, covering introductory calculus, analysis and abstract algebra.

As a current third year Physics with Theoretical Physics student at King's College London, I have an unrivalled experience in both Physics and Mathematics that I can share with you. I have received awards from my university for achieving the highest first year laboratory results and have achieved a First in both my first and second year results. Furthermore, I achieved 5 A*s at GCSE and 3 As at A-levels, and I can help you achieve the same.
I have had several years of teaching experience in a few different areas. I am currently working at a tutoring centre where I help students develop their skills in a large array of subjects. I have also had professional tutoring experience with MyTutor where I have tutored students for A-Level and GCSE Maths and Physics for over a year, helping students to achieve the grades they require. With MyTutor I provided support to students over a video call, helping them with homework problems and achieving the grades they wanted.
I used to be member of my school's academic mentor team and eventually helped to run and organise the academic mentors. Our role was to provide support to younger students studying for their GCSEs. I would meet up with one or two younger students over lunchtimes and provide support and tuition in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I partook in the academic mentor team for two years.
Further to this, I was a member of my school's Combined Cadet Forces where I was trained in how to prepare and deliver lessons to younger cadets and was later given the responsibility of training them. My time leading cadets in the CCF taught me how to effectively deliver information to people and the importance of suiting my teaching style to different people. I have also given support to some of my friends with EFL tasks and would often try and explain the mistakes that they may have made. This helped me to learn how to communicate ideas in an effective manner to people who are not entirely fluent in English.
I am an expert Mathematics and Physics teacher with international exposure and three main languages. My schooling started in the Lebanon, giving me fluency in Arabic and English and strength in French. As my schooling developed through the International school system in Nigeria and finally graduating with a Lebanese Baccalaureate in Mathematics, I received a fully funded scholarship to pursue Mathematics at the University of Michigan Dearborn and then a partly funded MSc scholarship to specialize in Operations Research at the University of Edinburgh and a MBA from London School of Business and Finance.
My passion for teaching had always been part of my career path. I am school teacher (since June 2018) who has started practising since 2013. There were more than 300 students during my practising. Because I was studying in MIPT, I worked as a teacher of course "Olympiad Maths" when we prepared kids to competitions of different level. And then I was invited to give the course on 2 Summer International Schools. 90% of my students became students of MIPT and most of them are students of other bests universities of Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic. I like to have friendly and "free" chemistry on my lessons. That's why all of my students don't have any complex to make mistake during solving problems. I think it is one of the most important to show everyone has right to make mistake. The most popular question among pupils is "How we can use solving of this problem in everyday life?". The main idea of mine is to show them how easy and practical maths is. And, of course, the biggest part of my teaching is dividing one problem on little problems which allows to understand the subject.

I am a young enthusiastic tutor who just completed the IB Diploma Programme earning top grades in Maths, Chemistry, Music and Biology going into a Medicine Degree next year.
At GCSE I achieved straight grade 9s, therefore I feel that I am well equipped to teach some selected subjects at GCSE as well as the fact that I have studied multiple of these subjects at IB Level too.
I am a keen musician who plays the piano, guitar and bassoon, all completed at a Grade 8 level and my passion for this is something I love to spread to others.
I graduated from the University of Surrey in July 2023 with a 2:1 degree in BSc Business Economics. For my first two years, I studies BSc Mathematics and Economics but for my final year, I decided to change my degree to Business Economics since I had more of a passion for Business. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics for my A-Levels and scored ABB respectfully. I scored a grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics (A*) , grade 7 (A) in GCSE English Literature and Language and an A* in GCSE Further Mathematics, scoring 4A*s , 6As and 1B. Mathematics has always been my favourite subject and I also very much enjoy teaching it to other people. I also have a musical background, particularly within playing the piano and keyboard. I am a Grade 8 pianist and I am very close to completion. I am looking to tutor piano or keyboard for people who want to play for pleasure and I am not looking to teach grades or prepare anyone for examinations.
