I am an Audio-Visual Technician and Film Production Graduate. I am a dedicated and hard-working individual. My reflective and conscientious nature means that I always complete a task to the highest possible standard for both clients and the organisation. I have tremendous technical knowledge in the use of various equipment, covering digital cameras, VR equipment, projectors and lighting desks. I have substantial experience in recording sound in various locations, with numerous sound consoles, loudspeaker systems, recorders, and various microphones. I am highly accomplished in using software such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, Logic, Pro Tools and have experience in using Game Design and 3D Modelling Computer Programming software.
·Audio Visual Technician at Hereford College of Arts: (29th August 2017- Present). Assisting students with stills cameras, video cameras, sound recording equipment, software and musical equipment etc. Setting up and fixing audio-visual equipment e. g. speakers and projectors. Responsible for the maintaining the media stores in the college, loaning out media equipment to students and staff. Undertaking theatre lighting and sound. Conducting technical workshops and classes with the HE and FE students. Supporting the photography and recording studios. Undertaking photography, and card production for enrolment. PAT testing appliances within the college and ensuring H&S is carried out accurately across departments. Filming and editing films for college events as overtime. Recording a radio advert to promote the Digital Futures course, which was aired on DAB Radio.
·Rural Media: (19th February 2020-Present) Commissioned to make an interactive well-being virtual reality application for New Creatives. New Creatives is one of the UK’s top talent development schemes offering commissioning opportunities for emerging creatives focusing on artistic works in film, audio or interactive media, designed for BBC channels and platforms.
·Solo Productions and LBS Films: (29th August-Present) Sound Engineer for the feature film Wyvern Hill. The first feature film for Jonathan Zau-rin, coming off the success of his short film Santa Baby. Written by Dr. Who screenwriter Keith Temple.
·The Farnham Film Company: (18th August 2019- Present) Camerawork and sound recording for Ian Lewis who produces and directs Coolcucumber TV and is an ex ITV Producer.
·Millichap Peace Fund: (1st October 2019) AV and filming for the live event; Zero Carbon Britain: A Climate Emergency Action Plan talk by Paul Allen – Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT). The work included the operation of two cameras, digital projections and setting up a video projection and audio feed from a camera into another seating room. The event was held at St Methodist Church in Hereford. I reported into the technical production manager and contributed to the event being a great success
·Hereford Musical Theatre Company: (18th June 2018-1st December 2019) Sound technician for live theatre productions. Working as stage crew for HMTC productions held at The Courtyard e. g. The Producers (4th-10th November 2018).
·The Courtyard Centre for the Arts: (14th October 2018-November 2018) Shadowing and assisting with the sound for live theatre productions.
·Just Dust: (January 2019- Present) Sound design for Sound Art pieces which were for a MA Fine Art course and to exhibit in instillations. The name of the instillation is Voicing Herefordshire Soil in the Anthropocene, the first launch of the instillation was the 19th-26th July 2019 in Hereford City Centre. The instillation was very popular and successful. The work is set to be exhibited at Aberystwyth University.
·The Community Broadcast Company (CBC): (26th August 2015 – 29th August 2017) This included various productions, from conducting media workshops, to producing promotional videos for companies such as KAW Interior design www.*** My main responsibilities included sound recording/editing, cinematography and production assisting.
·drp (Hartlebury): (5th June 2017 - 20th June 2017) Work experience placement as a Production Assistant. The placement Involved supporting video shoots, working with all members of crew. Assisting with video editing, filming, recording voiceover, sound design, and film related office work, which included sound, image, and footage research.
·Moving Water Media: (27th August 2015- 23rd September 2015) Production Assistant/Researcher. Supporting the production manager with research for educational math’s videos for the BBC.
·Power-Up Promotions: (7th February 2019- 6th July 2019) Helping kickstart a new music scene for young people in Hereford. This included sound/PA and lighting setups (e. g. The Speakeasy Left bank venue). This also included promotional photography and filming.
·Hayley Dickinson- Filmmaker: (21st March 2017- 25th February 2019) Sound Recordist/Sound Editor for Dénouement (Short Film) directed by Hayley Dickinson whose work has won many awards, at many different festivals; two for 'Best Music Video' and one 'Best Student Director’. The film Dénouement was screened at the BFI in London on 16th August 2017 and has also won awards at festivals. Hayley worked for Netflix, but I still worked with her on a freelance basis. Hayley has now been signed to a US directing / writing management team and is set to move to Los Angeles.

·The Production Guild: (1st February 2020) Leadership and Negotiation Skills Training Course. The course was held at Warner Bros Studios. The Facilitator was Linda Cockburn who holds an MSc. in training and development for adults. During her time at the BBC she moved from research into new media, then to the BBC Academy, working with teams across TV, radio and digital to support the development of new ideas.
