I am currently in my third year of Secondary teaching at a comprehensive school in Surrey. I teach Drama for Year 7 through to Year 13. I also teach English to Year 7 through to Year 9.
I have a range of experience with SEND needs and can differentiate my teaching to meet any needs your child may have.

I am a fully qualified English Teacher with 12 years experience working in a secondary school. In my career I have progressed to the Senior Leadership Team as an Asistant Head Teacher and have a comprehensive background in pastoral care and behaviour management. As a teacher I have been responsible for GCSE and A level exam groups working succesfully with students at all levels of attainment. I have also worked with students joining secondary school in Year 7 and have also taught the full Key Stage 3 curriculum.

I am a reliable individual with childcare experience, undertaking a Primary PGCE in September. I am looking for some additional work outside of my current 9-5:30 weekday job. I am a graduate of English Literature with a 2:1. EYFS trained.

I usually teach for around an hour typically to primary school age but I am looking to teach some older years as well. I like to keep the lesson interactive not focusing on the same exercise for too long. I find primary school-age children struggle to focus on the same thing for a long time. However, what I like about tutoring one-to-one or in small groups is that it gives you a lot of space to be flexible depending on who I am teaching.
