I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 3 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 3 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 3 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. I can teach Maths and Chemistry from KS2 to A level. I have been teaching since 1989. I have retired few years back from full time teaching.
After graduating with an honours degree in Mathematics, Zahra entered the hedge fund world where she studied for CIMA and CFA qualifications. During that time she also taught on a voluntary basis, before deciding to pursue teaching full time. She is a supportive and friendly teacher, who has taught GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics for over 10 years.
As well as teaching maths, Zahra is also responsible for the delivery of the Medical Programme designed for students applying for medicine, dentistry or veterinary science and specialises in training students for the UKCAT and BMAT exams.

Hi! My name is Camron and I am a first year university student, studying Dentistry at Kings College London. I am looking to tutor students that require assistance with GSCE maths and sciences or A-level maths and chemistry. I am willing to offer first hand assistance in order to help you achieve the best grade possible and give you learning techniques that may benefit in later stages of your academic career. Being in your position until only very recently, I believe I have found some effective methods in order to learn hard parts of the syllabus and as a student myself, understand the common topics students may struggle with. This is why I have taken extra care to produce fullproof methods of learning these topics and will explain them to the best of my ability during the lesson.
I think every single student is unique, which is why I believe my bespoke advice coupled with the latest resources will allow students to maximise their progress in the subjects they require help with. I am currently a qualified and experienced Science teacher, teaching GCSE and A-Levels in a top Secondary School in Berkshire. I have graduated with a BSc degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London, which included an in-depth study of topics such as: Organic Chemistry, Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Quantum Chemistry and Biochemistry. These are topics which are all included in the new A-Level Chemistry syllabus.
Having done Chemistry, Biology, Psychology and Mathematics at A-Level and holding a BSc degree, gives me sound knowledge of the subject and I am an ambassador of the Teach First Graduate Leadership Programme. Hi, I am Anoushka. I am an online tutor with over 4 years of tutoring experience teaching students from KS1 to A Level in mathematics,physics and chemistry. At school, I always found it frustrating when a teacher would simply give us the basic information and expect us to just blindly memorise it. This always presented problems in exams when the question was more out-of-context. So, I want to try to help students get a really strong and thorough understanding of any topic they struggle with, so that they can smash those tricky exam questions which ask for more than just 'basic recall' of information.Understanding is far more effective and time-efficient than memorisation. As an older graduate entering the teaching profession, my recent international teaching and work experience resulted in a “eureka” moment for me.
