I believe all students can reach their maximum potential if time is taken to find the learning style best suited to them. No question is a silly question and I am happy to help even outside of teaching time where possible. I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Leeds, so I know a thing or two about working hard. It hasn’t been easy to get to this position but with the right mentorship, I believe anything is possible. My teaching style will consist of a range of learning the knowledge as well as applying it through active recall, mini tests (scores do not matter) and past paper questions which can be worked through independently as well as with me. I believe variation is key to finding the best learning style for a student as well as being aware that we all make mistakes and they are there to learn from. I have both mentorship and tutoring experience having taken part in a programme in college to help struggling GCSE students. Many of them managed to exceed their expectations and one student even jumped from a 5 in Maths to an 8 in GCSE with the right teaching methods.
In terms of tutoring, I have 1 year of experience teaching students of all abilities. Each student has had their grade increase by at least 1 and their confidence and willingness to learn has improved considerably. No matter your confidence level, I will be able to help you. I am excited to be able to help other students achieve the grades they deserve and are capable of.

Hi!
I’m a Medical Student at the University of Manchester with A*AA A level grades . (A* Biology, AA German and Psychology).
Also Achieved 2970, Band 1 UCAT
I teach up to A level Biology - OCR or AQA, as well as UCAT preparation.
I also teach German and Psychology up to A Level (Edexcel and AQA).
I will personalise my lessons to the student’s style of learning and focus on improving weak areas, as well as spending some time on other topics in order to keep up recall on those. Students will be quizzed each tutoring session on all of the previous topics we have gone through to make sure they have a good recall of the curriculum as a whole.
All the topics in the current will be covered, if that’s what the student would like however students are also free to request topics and questions they are struggling with - which I will go through with them. These will also be brought up in further sessions in order to make sure they understand.
I like to make my lessons engaging and with some fun activities in order to make learning enjoyable for my students. Homework related to the topics covered in the tutoring session will also be given.

Welcome! My name is Mohammed Saif-ullah, and I am a 3rd year dental medicine student. With over 3 years of tutoring experience, I have honed my skills in helping students unlock their full academic potential.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of guiding students through their GCSEs, witnessing remarkable transformations in their confidence and performance. Many of my past students have achieved outstanding grades in their GCSE exams, often exceeding their expectations.
My approach to tutoring is rooted in personalised attention and tailored lesson plans. I understand that each student has unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. By building strong rapport and understanding their individual needs, I create a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to tackle challenges head-on.
Beyond simply imparting knowledge, I strive to instil lifelong learning skills that extend beyond the classroom. From effective study techniques to time management strategies, I equip my students with the tools they need to succeed not only in their exams but also in their academic journey as a whole.
As your tutor, I am committed to your success. Whether you're struggling with a specific subject, aiming to
improve your grades, or seeking to deepen your understanding of challenging concepts, I'm here to help you reach your goals. Together, we'll navigate the academic landscape with confidence and enthusiasm.
I look forward to embarking on this learning journey together!
My Teaching Approach
In my approach to teaching students, I prioritize a thorough understanding of the content before delving into exam-style questions. By laying a solid foundation of knowledge, students gain confidence in tackling a variety of mathematical challenges. I believe in fostering critical thinking skills alongside the mastery of concepts, empowering students to apply their understanding to diverse problem-solving scenarios. Through a structured yet adaptable approach, I aim to equip my students with the tools and strategies necessary to excel in their exams and beyond.

Hi, my name is Charlotte and I am currently on a gap year before going to university next year to study medicine. I have completed my GCSE's, achieving an 8 in GCSE Maths and a 7 in all three sciences (Chemistry, Biology and Physics). I have also gone on to study and complete my A-levels, gaining a B in Maths and Biology. I have also tutored pupils before in order to pass their GCSE Maths. During my A-levels, I was also tutored, so I know from both sides what it is like doing tutoring. I hope this gives you the confidence that I have knowledge in many different learning styles and revision techniques that can be tailored for each student. I feel this will help to improve every students attitude to learning and also what they get out of education, pushing them to the next level.
During my time at college, I have spent time researching and using many different revision and learning strategies in order to gain in sight into the best ways to learn in different subjects and topics etc. My tutoring style is using games, quizzes, past paper questions and revisiting certain topics with students in order to gain knowledge of the topic and an understanding of how to best answer exam questions. In lessons, students can expect to go through multiple choice questions as well as long answers and simple answer questions. We will go through the basics of each topic and then learn how to apply that knowledge to answer exam questions and gain marks.
The first meeting will be meeting each other and understand if you are the right student for me, and also if I am the right tutor for you. I will also explain to the student how my lessons run and make sure they are comfortable with everything. Please feel free to ask lots of questions at this point or send me a message for more information before hand!
