I am a researcher and a PhD scholar at the Department of Chemistry, Loughborough University, UK. Previously I have completed my graduation in Pharmaceutical Sciences and master's in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Currently I am working on organic electrochemical synthesis of heterocyclic drugs particularly immunomodulators.
Professionally I have worked as a qualified and registered Pharmacist in different hospitals and clinical settings for more than 4 years. Furthermore, I also have professional teaching experience of 3 years in the Department of Pharmacy at Public sector University. I taught different subjects including basic chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, clinical medicine, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, medicinal chemistry, community pharmacy, epidemiology and few more related to medical and basic sciences. I also have Pharmacy registration certificate of three different countries, I have published research articles in international journals. I am certified in Antimicrobial stewardship from Stanford university.
During the last few years of teaching i have used variety of methods to explain the topic to my students and I prefer to choose specific method of teaching for all my students because I believe every person has different way of understanding and requires special attention towards that specific way and to achieve that level of understanding I always try to get the right connection with my student by listening their problems their stories and they always feel very much comfortable with me to share what they are troubling with. I also prefer to use different online videos and presentations related to recent advancements in that specific topic. I often perform different activities with my students, specifically with university students, that can help them understand the nature of physiological and biological pathways. My usual method of teaching involves collecting information from different sources and compile them for my students and first explain each and every detail of that specific topic then I help my student to comprise their own notes from their understanding and I believe that to achieve exceptional grades you should always explain your answers in your own words rather than just rephrasing from textbooks or manuscripts. Recently some of my students graduated from the university and got their desired jobs straight away and few of them also got enrolled in postgraduate studies to continue their passion for medical sciences. I can proudly say that my efforts and hard work on my students gave fruit full results in developing their academic and professional careers as well as their confident personality.
I do lessons online (skype, zoom and messenger) and face to face lesson only at my home if students live up to 20 miles. Biology, chemistry, physics and maths are my favourite subjects that I have been teaching and tutoring since 1990. Also I am a part time lecturer and researcher for genetics at the university since 2009 till present time. I am very eager to tutor as teaching is a great job. Maths is my tool to teach and use in the three sciences as it will help students succeed more. I teach first few 15 minutes or twenty minutes explaining the ideas then the rest of the hour I work with the students on practicing how to answer different type of questions regarding the ideas we have went over. It is not an hour or two to write only notes but to work with the students to be practical using the ideas in questions, how to apply them and why to learn about them. lesson should be interesting to attract students to love to learn and enjoy studying with me as well to leave the tutoring hour feeling there was a gain of knowledge, practice techniques to answer the questions and no need to go home and revise again and mostly to gain confidence. I have a long and diverse history of teaching and tutoring, spanning various levels and subjects. I have cultivated a deep passion for education and student development. My journey began at the age of 19 when I started private tutoring GCSE subjects (math, physics, chemistry, biology). This continued into my undergraduate engineering studies, where I expanded my tutoring repertoire to include A-level subjects (math, physics, chemistry, English).
Upon graduating, I joined a government organisation in Bangladesh as an engineer. In this role, I was responsible for training programs in automotive and machine tools for engineering apprentices. My move to the UK in 2004 marked a new chapter, where I supported myself through my MSc studies by tutoring GCSE and A-level students in math, physics, and chemistry.
Throughout my professional career in the industry as an engineer, I designed and delivered training programs for apprentices and engineers, covering a broad spectrum of engineering subjects. These included engineering software (CAD, CAM, CAE), engineering math, quality control, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP (enterprise resource planning) software. Concurrently, I continued private tutoring GCSE & A-level students (math, physics, chemistry) and undergraduate students (engineering math, engineering mechanics, fundamentals of mechanical engineering).
During my PhD studies (2016-2020) at the University of Nottingham, I served as a teaching assistant and demonstrator, teaching engineering design and CAD to undergraduates. Following this, my role at Heriot-Watt University (2021-2022) as a Research Associate in Robotics included tutoring and guest lecturing in undergraduate modules such as Introduction to Robotics and Digital Design & Programming.
Currently, I am working as an engineering lecturer. I teach a variety of electro-mechanical BEng modules, including engineering math, smart manufacturing, project management, engineering design, mechanical engineering systems, and renewable energy. Additionally, I supervise and coordinate final-year research projects.

I am a committed, enthusiastic and friendly tutor/mentor with 30 years of teaching experience and up to date knowledge of teaching methods. Since graduating from the University or Reading in 1992, I have taught in a variety of Norfolk schools - both primary and secondary (including an American school here in the U. K.). I have a proven track record of improving pupil achievement in maths and am able to offer tailor-made tuition to meet individual pupil needs - whether the student is struggling to keep up at school, developing confidence or preparing for exams.
