I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 4 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 4 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 4 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. At additional request, I will be able to teach Statistics and Further Maths.
For online teaching, I have taught students using Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meets.
Additionally, I have 4 years of experience in teaching students with SEN, as I have taught these students online and in person. I have taught students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia and emotional difficulties.

Hi! My name is Huda H. and I am from Crawley, West Sussex. I graduated from the University of Northumbria. I did a bachelors degree on Bio Medical Science. I am currently a Maths and Science Tutor. I have experience in tutoring female students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Science for three years. I started tutoring primary students during my GCSE'S. After sucessfully completing my degree, with a second class honours, I wanted to make teaching as my profession. I have been able to help students who were facing a lot of difficulties in understanding the subject by breaking it down step by step making the topic more interesting and easier for the students. Hello my name is Louie I am a 19 year old university student currently studying environmental geoscience at the university of southampton. My course is a mixture of Geology including Geochemistry with also Oceanography, Geography and some environmental science aspects like Ecology. Hello, I am a science teacher who started my career in 2019 after having worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 11 years. My specialism is in chemistry but also teach GCSE Biology and Physics.
I will go through some assessments using past exam papers to identify misconceptions and areas where my students need to improve. This method is used to boost grades and understanding.
Have been at Kingston grammar school for 6 years and gone through the private school intensive system and know how the process goes and know the specification for maths and science like the back of my hand. An asset I would say that I offer is for tutoring in preparation for entrance exams as I know what key skills schools are looking out for in the exams and the level of understanding required. I myself got into Kingston grammar on the waiting list one of the last people and I know the struggle it is especially at a young age, however over time and working with younger children from 7-15 have learnt and developed techniques which help undertanding of content in a simple way.
I have a passion for science and conservation biology in particular. I strongly believe in education as a way to improve people's lives. I like a 1-on-1 approach as I think this allows a personalised method of teaching for each tutee. In 2016 I spent 4 months in China teaching English as a Foreign Language. I taught 5 classes, each with two lessons a week (16 weeks). I taught Business English Reading (2 classes), Oral Communication, and English Speaking and Listening (2 classes). I also taught a condensed English Speaking and Listening class with the same number of lessons but over a four week period. My classes consist of between 30 and 45 students in their third or fourth year of study. I am expected to prepare appropriately for lessons, provide weekly attendance and participation scores, and set the final exam for all classes. I also gave a ten-week series of open lectures on British Culture.
Balancing my journey as both a dedicated student and an experienced tutor has been an austere test of hard work and perseverance. Studying at a grammar school while preparing for a future in Medicine at Imperial College London has required immense discipline, but it has also given me a deep understanding of the challenges students face in their academic journeys.
