Prior to teaching I have worked in life science Reasearch and Development and in Biopharamceutical research, sales and marketing. I also worked a part-time voluntary teaching assistant in primary and seconday schools for 2 years. In 2014 I decided to change career completely to become a science teacher, so I trained at Kings College, graduating with my PGCE in 2015.
My background prior to teaching brings additional experience and skills to my teaching. Chemistry is my specialist subject. I have taught and tutored all sciences successfully to years 7 to 11, and have taught and tutored Chemistry and Biology at A level.
I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 3 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 3 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 3 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. Hi! My name is Huda H. and I am from Crawley, West Sussex. I graduated from the University of Northumbria. I did a bachelors degree on Bio Medical Science. I am currently a Maths and Science Tutor. I have experience in tutoring female students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Science for three years. I started tutoring primary students during my GCSE'S. After sucessfully completing my degree, with a second class honours, I wanted to make teaching as my profession. Hi! My name is Camron and I am a first year university student, studying Dentistry at Kings College London. I am looking to tutor students that require assistance with GSCE maths and sciences or A-level maths and chemistry. I am willing to offer first hand assistance in order to help you achieve the best grade possible and give you learning techniques that may benefit in later stages of your academic career. Being in your position until only very recently, I believe I have found some effective methods in order to learn hard parts of the syllabus and as a student myself, understand the common topics students may struggle with. This is why I have taken extra care to produce fullproof methods of learning these topics and will explain them to the best of my ability during the lesson.
I think every single student is unique, which is why I believe my bespoke advice coupled with the latest resources will allow students to maximise their progress in the subjects they require help with. From personal experience, I strongly believe the best way to retain knowledge is to ensure they have a complete understanding of it, which is why I will do my very best to make sure this is achieved.

I am currently a qualified and experienced Science teacher, teaching GCSE and A-Levels in a top Secondary School in Berkshire. I have graduated with a BSc degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London, which included an in-depth study of topics such as: Organic Chemistry, Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Quantum Chemistry and Biochemistry. These are topics which are all included in the new A-Level Chemistry syllabus.
Having done Chemistry, Biology, Psychology and Mathematics at A-Level and holding a BSc degree, gives me sound knowledge of the subject and I am an ambassador of the Teach First Graduate Leadership Programme. I have qualified and gained my PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) degree from Canterbury Christ Church University (Kent) in the first year of the programme - August 2017, and had worked as a NQT (newly qualified teacher) in the second year of the programme.

Having taught Biology (GCSE), Chemistry (GCSE and A-Level) and Physics (GCSE) to students of varying different backgrounds and from challenging backgrounds (including SEN students to students of very high ability in top sets), I have the ability to cater to all students` needs in order to push them to the next level. All students are different and they all have varying needs. I try building a relationship of trust and listen to what their needs are. Science is a challenging subject and most students can do very well, provided they have self-belief and are willing to work hard.
Although I currently teach all three Sciences in a secondary school, my specialism lies in Chemistry due to my BSc degree. I incorporate exam-style questions into my teaching to boost pupils` confidence and assess their applied knowledge. There is a huge jump from GCSE to A-Levels however my unique teaching style bridges this gap between GCSE and AS-level. I also ensure that homework is set regularly and assessed. I firmly belief that feedback is the most vital aspect to promote student progress therefore, I provided as much feedback as possible based on questions, homework and work set.

Hello my name is Louie I am a 19 year old university student currently studying environmental geoscience at the university of southampton. I’m a vastly experienced tutor with over 5 years experience, specializing in the core subjects (Science & English) for the GCSE years. I’ve managed to build a flourishing tutoring business that has helped an eclectic mix of students across state and public schools, both online and in person, both individually and sometimes in groups.
