I have been a part-time tutor for four years. My personality and qualities fit complementary to tutoring, developing others’ potential by sharing mine. I have assisted and tutored young students from simple intervention sessions (helping young children develop their English & Maths skills) and GCSE & A-Level students towards exams and entrance exams, bringing success into the study community.
MECHANICAL & AEROSPACE Engineering support For University students is also available"
I specialise in working with students on a 1-on-1 basis, easing and tackling individual areas of difficulty at their appropriate pace – something that can be difficult to receive in the standard school environment. My teaching approach is adaptive upon students’ own learning attitude, thus, presenting resources in various ways. It is focused on fostering a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of a topic, before applying that knowledge to solving questionnaires. I also specially aid with exam preparation to share my own unique methods of working and exam techniques/tips. Ultimately, I aim to develop one’s self-esteem and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.
I have taught a wide age group from 5 to 24, which my past tutor sessions were based on creativity of my hobbies such as art, which always worked absolutely well since when I was a GCSE student.
I have many experiences working with children, especially with spending my work experience as an assistant in a primary school class, I was able to interact and deal with various situations to keep the children calm, focused and motivated. As a school tutor, I utilised my organisational skills to collect resources and investigated various methods of teaching to find the most efficient way to deliver difficult contents, suiting the students’ own learning attitude appropriately. I evolved my communication competency whilst discovering the students’ difficulty and preferred revision methods, also.
I am someone who has academically succeeded highly through UK national curriculum. I have passion towards mathematics thus, I have participated and have been awarded many times for UKMT, and moreover, for Chemistry and Physics Olympiad challenges as Gold and Bronze respectively. I held responsibility as a School Ambassador and School tutoring, volunteered to be a Reader Leader who helps those who struggle reading and understanding the story with success. I aid in writing model answers for GCSE & A-Level exam questions as well. Not only am I self-disciplined and persevered but I enjoy hobbies that are based on creativity: DIY craft and art, piano, dancing, sport, ballet, balancing my work and leisure. I am also fluent in English and relatively fluent in Korean with a basic level of French language. My experiences in life, living in various different countries allowed me to interact and adapt into many different societies, overcoming many barriers. Hence, I am very approachable and developed lots of life skills.
Not only have I built responsibilities and punctuality and polished my competencies. For those who I mentor have developed their own self-esteem, confidence and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.

My purpose in life to make a positive difference to others. I am very fascinated by science, especially Biology. The mechanism of life and survival is extraordinary. I further have travelled to around 22 countries; this allowed me to appreciate the importance of education and its impact for future generations. I am also very empathetic and understand of the pressure’s teenagers face in the classroom. I look forward to the challenge of teaching as the rewards are a blessing.
I have over five years of experience in teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics to KS3 and KS4 Students of all levels of ability and aptitude. I have a passion for motivating and inspiring students with a smile on my face. My aim as a tutor, is to allow students to achieve their full potential; a crucial skill to passing any exam. I will further provide high-quality resources which are differentiated, accessible and linked to the GCSE specification.
As a conscientious and reflective tutor, I make sure my lessons are stimulating, challenging and dynamic. I understand the pressures of being in a classroom and the expectations faced at school. My lessons include a pinch of humour and real-life examples, to which students can relate to.
The potential for students is limitless and I am looking forward to this journey.

HI, my name is Charlotte but everyone calls me Lottie. I have the ability to communicate with children especially those with learning disabilities as I have learned so much from having them myself. Having Dyslexia, Irlens and Hearing Processing Disorder made school really hard for me so with the right techniques that I honed over the years I was able to go to my dream university to do my dream course, Architecture. Throughout secondary school I tutored at GCSE level in the 3 sciences and the Design Subjects as this is where I thrived. I shared my techniques with all the children and it was wonderful hearing them get amazing results in their exams. I have a lot fo experience working with kids in tutoring. Outside of this I spent the summer working in a camp in America teaching kids all kinds of sports, games and arts. I spent 24/7 for 7 weeks with the same children and watching them develop as people and also learn so much was beautiful. I am reliable and hardworking despite my spelling mistakes. I have worked in so many different sectors over the years from marketing to childcare to management. I am organised and have great communication skills. The price varies on time and subject however are all affordable prices and up for discussion. Thank you for your time.

Currently a teacher of Science in Leicester of 5 years. Have been tutoring for 2 years with excellent results with experience in ks3/ks4 combined and triple science.
My approach with tutoring transcends the idea of just teaching what they need to know but how you answer particular questions. An approach that is not routinely taught in schools and one that has improved and pushed my students to achieving excellent results.
My numerous CPDs on the current specification gives me a huge advantage when teaching and tutoring to my students.

A fully qualified science teacher (PGCE & QTS Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Very experienced with a caring approach. A vast knowledge of teaching students with an extremely wide range of needs. My work largely involves preparing students for exams that are not on mainstream school for medical reasons. I have been teaching secondary students for 20 years in colleges both mainstream and in the independent sector. I graduated from Loughborough University in 2000 after completing a Bachelor of Science, and Post Graduate degree in Science Education. I have a website with reviews and pictures to show the work that I do. Particularly skilled in coaching and mentoring. I work for Leicestershire County Council. I build trust and confidence, which in turn allows young people to develop and obtain the results that they deserve. I provide examination notes specifically to support different exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel etc). I have been delivering practical investigations for many many years and help young people to analyse these practicals which are now a significant component of the exam board specification.

I originate from the United States of America, I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and, as of this application submission, have completed my coursework for a Master of Science in Chemistry Education degree. In working towards both of those degrees, I have been challenged to use mathematics up to a level of multivariable calculus and have completed English courses that range from speech and debate to journalism and creative writing. Also, I've taken a variety of chemistry, biology, and physics courses throughout my academic journey, which I am more than willing to help spread this knowledge to those who need it. I also encourage my students to ask questions, express their opinions and explore their creativity. My approach is based on the principles of active learning, collaborative learning and personalized learning.
