I have been a part-time tutor for four years. My personality and qualities fit complementary to tutoring, developing others’ potential by sharing mine. I specialise in working with students on a 1-on-1 basis, easing and tackling individual areas of difficulty at their appropriate pace – something that can be difficult to receive in the standard school environment. My teaching approach is adaptive upon students’ own learning attitude, thus, presenting resources in various ways. It is focused on fostering a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of a topic, before applying that knowledge to solving questionnaires. I also specially aid with exam preparation to share my own unique methods of working and exam techniques/tips. Ultimately, I aim to develop one’s self-esteem and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.
I have taught a wide age group from 5 to 24, which my past tutor sessions were based on creativity of my hobbies such as art, which always worked absolutely well since when I was a GCSE student.
I have many experiences working with children, especially with spending my work experience as an assistant in a primary school class, I was able to interact and deal with various situations to keep the children calm, focused and motivated. As a school tutor, I utilised my organisational skills to collect resources and investigated various methods of teaching to find the most efficient way to deliver difficult contents, suiting the students’ own learning attitude appropriately. I evolved my communication competency whilst discovering the students’ difficulty and preferred revision methods, also.
I am someone who has academically succeeded highly through UK national curriculum. I have passion towards mathematics thus, I have participated and have been awarded many times for UKMT, and moreover, for Chemistry and Physics Olympiad challenges as Gold and Bronze respectively. I held responsibility as a School Ambassador and School tutoring, volunteered to be a Reader Leader who helps those who struggle reading and understanding the story with success. I aid in writing model answers for GCSE & A-Level exam questions as well. Not only am I self-disciplined and persevered but I enjoy hobbies that are based on creativity: DIY craft and art, piano, dancing, sport, ballet, balancing my work and leisure. I am also fluent in English and relatively fluent in Korean with a basic level of French language. My experiences in life, living in various different countries allowed me to interact and adapt into many different societies, overcoming many barriers. Hence, I am very approachable and developed lots of life skills.
Not only have I built responsibilities and punctuality and polished my competencies. For those who I mentor have developed their own self-esteem, confidence and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.

I am Chartered Rocket Scientist Engineer (CEng) graduated from Swansea university in Aerospace engineering and I have also got HND in Automotive Engineering. I got first class degree from there. I have passion for teaching others especially Maths, English, Physics and Chemistry and Biology up to university level.
First we complete free assessment with the students and discuss their weak points and then we make a plan together so we have a focus point to work towards.

Previously I have completed my graduation in Pharmaceutical Sciences and master's in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Professionally I have worked as a qualified and registered Pharmacist in different hospitals and clinical settings for more than 4 years. During the last few years of teaching i have used variety of methods to explain the topic to my students and I prefer to choose specific method of teaching for all my students because I believe every person has different way of understanding and requires special attention towards that specific way and to achieve that level of understanding I always try to get the right connection with my student by listening their problems their stories and they always feel very much comfortable with me to share what they are troubling with. I also prefer to use different online videos and presentations related to recent advancements in that specific topic. I often perform different activities with my students, specifically with university students, that can help them understand the nature of physiological and biological pathways. My usual method of teaching involves collecting information from different sources and compile them for my students and first explain each and every detail of that specific topic then I help my student to comprise their own notes from their understanding and I believe that to achieve exceptional grades you should always explain your answers in your own words rather than just rephrasing from textbooks or manuscripts. Recently some of my students graduated from the university and got their desired jobs straight away and few of them also got enrolled in postgraduate studies to continue their passion for medical sciences. I can proudly say that my efforts and hard work on my students gave fruit full results in developing their academic and professional careers as well as their confident personality.
I do lessons online (skype, zoom and messenger) and face to face lesson only at my home if students live up to 20 miles. Biology, chemistry, physics and maths are my favourite subjects that I have been teaching and tutoring since 1990. Also I am a part time lecturer and researcher for genetics at the university since 2009 till present time. I am very eager to tutor as teaching is a great job. Maths is my tool to teach and use in the three sciences as it will help students succeed more. I teach first few 15 minutes or twenty minutes explaining the ideas then the rest of the hour I work with the students on practicing how to answer different type of questions regarding the ideas we have went over. It is not an hour or two to write only notes but to work with the students to be practical using the ideas in questions, how to apply them and why to learn about them. lesson should be interesting to attract students to love to learn and enjoy studying with me as well to leave the tutoring hour feeling there was a gain of knowledge, practice techniques to answer the questions and no need to go home and revise again and mostly to gain confidence. Аll this to be done from September not two weeks to exams.
