I am the Head of Sixth Form at my school. Previously, I have served as Head of Biology. I am a specialist at A Level Biology for both Yr 12s and Yr 13s and I am a specialist for Triple or Combined higher for all science up to GCSE. I am very experienced at teaching KS3 & KS4 Science at all levels. I teach the AQA board, however I have many students I tutor who do the OCR, EDEXCEL, IGCSE, Cambridge Assessment and other boards too. I am very experienced in helping students achieve success and have a track record of proven results.
Being a science professional teacher and Lecturer in College and in my own academy in India, having more than 12 years experience in teaching science, chemistry, physics and biology, I helped thousands of students to change their grades in exams.

I have 22 years teaching experience. I have taught Chemistry to GCSE, BTEC and GNVQ and A Level Chemistry to Year 12. I have also taught Biology to GCSE Level and Physics to KS3 Level. I have Primary experience in both KS1 and KS2.

Lesson will consist of prepared notes which will be discussed during the tutoring sessions. There will be supported by use of worksheets and then exam style questions. Each lesson will be based on specific areas of the syllabus that is intended to support the work that is being undertaken in the classroom. This will follow the part of the syllabus being taught in the classroom, to support and re-inforce student learning.
I use videos to support learning and these will be showed used a laptop. I will use a projector (if it is possible). If the student wishes to only look at specific areas if the syllabus, then I will undertake to produce material to support this request.
I gained membership of the Royal Society of Chemistry and have undertaken volunteer work for them. I also volunteer in the Science Museum in South Kensington for the last 8 years.

Hi, my name is Vicky and I'm an ex-head of science at a secondary school in London. I have also been a tutor for the last 4 years. I've been teaching for just over 6 years with experience on multiple exam boards and teaching all specialisms of science. I am currently teaching myself how to code and looking for a career change, however, I am still tutoring as I love how rewarding it is!
I gained my PGCE in 2017 and started my role as a science teacher in July 2017. I have taught all three sciences for both AQA and Edexcel, and chemistry up to A-Level. I have also worked as an examiner for both AQA and Edexcel, giving me priceless experience and insight into getting marks in exams!
