Prior to teaching I have worked in life science Reasearch and Development and in Biopharamceutical research, sales and marketing. I also worked a part-time voluntary teaching assistant in primary and seconday schools for 2 years. In 2014 I decided to change career completely to become a science teacher, so I trained at Kings College, graduating with my PGCE in 2015.
My background prior to teaching brings additional experience and skills to my teaching. Chemistry is my specialist subject. I have taught and tutored all sciences successfully to years 7 to 11, and have taught and tutored Chemistry and Biology at A level.
I can teach Maths and Chemistry from KS2 to A level. I have been teaching since 1989. I have retired few years back from full time teaching.
I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 4 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 4 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 4 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. At additional request, I will be able to teach Statistics and Further Maths.
For online teaching, I have taught students using Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meets.
Additionally, I have 3 years of experience in teaching students with SEN, as I have taught these students online and in person. I have taught students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia and emotional difficulties.

We have a dedicated covid secure classroom. We have an extremely comprehensive equipment store to cover all the experiments for GCSE and A level Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). This enables the students to take part in experiments which enhances their learning.
Since the lockdown, our response was to transition, virtually overnight, our teaching online. The tutor’s hands became the student’s hands and the cameras their eyes, the microphone and speakers became their voice and ears. With the power of a broadcast switcher, the student did not have one view but many, depending on what was needed. In addition, we decided to live stream tutorials on YouTube going through GCSE and A level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, topic by topic, week by week utilising all our equipment for experiments. Hi! My name is Camron and I am a first year university student, studying Dentistry at Kings College London. I am looking to tutor students that require assistance with GSCE maths and sciences or A-level maths and chemistry.
