I have over 8 years experience in teaching the primary age range in the state education sector.
I am extremely knowledgeable in the National curriculum, planning, delivering and assessing your child's ability. I will take an initial assessment to see where they are in their learning - their strengths and areas they need to develop and create a personalised program for them to progress at that right speed for them as an individual.
I have used many different programs in my career such as Mastery maths, White Rose maths, FFT phonics and Little Wandle as well as creating my own activities
I enjoy making lessons creative and with real life contexts so that the children can see the purpose for their learning ready for when they enter the adult world. I like to keep the lessons at a good pace to maximise their concentration and focus. A good light hearted sense of humor with positive encouragement is the approach I find works best for when I tutor to provide the child with self-esteem and confidence in themselves.

My name is Sarah and I currently work as an analytical chemist in the research sector. I completed a Chemistry degree at Plymouth university in 2018 and have been working as a full time scientist since. I also have A-levels in Maths and Chemistry.
I qualified to teach mathematics and physics in Sheffield then taught in the schools in Sheffield, Bournemouth, London and Hong Kong. In Hong Kong I also tutored maths physics chemistry biology and science.
I served as an Assistant Professor at Delhi University, where I developed effective strategies to enhance students’ understanding and performance. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and learning environment that caters to individual learning styles.

I worked has a assistant professor in engineering college for 7 years from mornig 9 am to evening 4 pm. In the evening i do take online tutions for maths subject one to one sections for 2 students.
