Hello, I'm Liam and I am a primary school teacher currently teaching in Nottinghamshire. I have nearly a decade of experience and have taught all across the primary age range (5-11). Throughout my career, I have taught in various schools and to various groups of children with a wide range of abilities and needs. During COVID, teaching moved to online so I am well-versed in teaching via Teams/Zoom and using resources in creative ways to engage learners. All of my qualifications are available for you to see and I am required to have an up-to-date DBS (CRB) certificate as a part of my job in school. I offer 1:1 tutoring online to allow me to reach students nationally and this covers the primary curriculum and homework help. I am more than happy to tailor the content of lessons to mirror what is currently being taught in school. This will help ensure that learning is current and can help close any potential gaps from current learning in school.

Hi. My name is Sean O. and I am a fully qualified maths tutor and teacher with a master’s degree in mathematics and a PGCE from the University of Nottingham. I offer one to one private tuition for students of mathematics from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level Further maths and occasionally teach Primary as well.
I completed my PGCE in secondary mathematics in 2021 and secured a full time position at the OFSTED Outstanding school, George Spencer Academy, Nottingham. I have since started working privately to have more flexible hours, to allow me to pursue my career as a GB athlete, whilst continuing to follow my passion for education.

Basic Maths, Applied Mathematics, and Physics lessons in Nottingham, UK.
I have had experience working in primary schools for almost two years now, working with children with SEND and SEMH difficulties as well as other children to help them achieve their full academic potential. I have delivered 1:1 and small group based interventions in age ranges from 4 years old in their early years all the way up to 11 in the run up to SATs. I have spent a lot of time working with children who had the academic level of several years below their age group however after sometime of 1:1 intervention they have thrived and caught up with their peers. Not only have I worked with children for their academics but I have also worked with children to help give them the opportunity to learn self regulation and mental health support. This has come from a wide range of support programmes such as zones of regulation and social detective. I pride myself on how fun and engaging I like to make my time with children and with how much of a difference emotion coaching can make to their lives. In the run up to SATS I worked in delivering intervention based lessons to our cusp students to help them go on to achieve greater depth in their SATs but also to help children who believed they couldn’t do their SATs.
I would love to help other children going through GCSE's and SAT's and to boost their confidence. I hope to make children realise that with the right mindset, one that they realise if they work hard, they can do it and achieve good results. As someone who has just finished their GCSE's, the subjects are very much fresh in my mind. I would love to use any tips and tricks in which I have been taught that may differ to any others they have been given and to help them understand more.
I graduated with a first-class degree in Biotechnology. I'm an adaptable, flexible, and resilient team player with a solid research background, extra laboratory experiences in a fast-paced environment with multidisciplinary team projects. I take lead and initiative, bring full commitment and enthusiasm to tasks and meeting objectives.

Hi my name is Jo and I am very pleased to meet you! I am a qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher, for a number of years, for students of all ages and abilities, it truly is my passion. I am from the UK but I have a love of travel that I look forward to sharing with you. I enjoy meeting students from all backgrounds and cultures and learning about their interests and goals. I have many interests including arts and crafts, travel and as I have a fur baby cat, I am also an animal lover. My teaching style is ensuring that the student is comfortable and confident, therefore adapting sessions to suit individual needs and goals. I am a bit of a grammar and pronunciation geek with a love of semantics. However, I also enjoy being creative and having fun so I can adapt a more formal learning style to an informal style. While having fun it is also learning! I love to listen, learn and share experiences and talk about a range of topics from popular culture, animals, the arts, travel and even conspiracy theories!
