Hi my name is Jo and I am very pleased to meet you! I am a qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher, for a number of years, for students of all ages and abilities, it truly is my passion. I am from the UK but I have a love of travel that I look forward to sharing with you. I enjoy meeting students from all backgrounds and cultures and learning about their interests and goals. I have many interests including arts and crafts, travel and as I have a fur baby cat, I am also an animal lover. My sessions are adapted to meet the interests and goals of the students and I love to add a touch of creativity. I look forward to meeting you very soon!
My teaching style is ensuring that the student is comfortable and confident, therefore adapting sessions to suit individual needs and goals. I am a bit of a grammar and pronunciation geek with a love of semantics. However, I also enjoy being creative and having fun so I can adapt a more formal learning style to an informal style. While having fun it is also learning! I love to listen, learn and share experiences and talk about a range of topics from popular culture, animals, the arts, travel and even conspiracy theories! The most important for me is adapting my teaching and tutoring style, for the benefit of the student
