I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience. I have a huge passion for teaching and find it most rewarding to see children progress and excel under my guidance.

Every child deserves an opportunity to reach their maximum potential. In addition to focusing on a child`s academic progress, I always look for opportunities to boost their confidence and self-esteem - as these are crucial for a holistic development. Difficult concepts are broken down in smaller ones through scaffolding using different techniques differentiated according to each child`s individual need. It is important to push each child past their comfort zone, and I do exactly that with the students I tutor by challenging them in different ways. I tutor children across the primary phase, all the way from teaching how to read and write in English, to solving complex problems in Maths, to preparing them for their upcoming SATs or 11+ exams.
I tailor my lessons to cater for each child's individual needs. I have a gentle and friendly approach towards children and I always look for ways to help them make connections between the things they learn and for them to develop a love for learning. I believe that every child is truly special and unique. I have successfully tutored children with specific learning needs, as well as children that have English as an additional language. All my students have made excelled progress in their studies, therefore most of my students come from personal recommendations of happy parents :)

I have attended several workshops, and now deliver workshops, designed by the NHS, on Motivation, and How the Brain works etc. I was an excellent student at school, but also went through a period of ill health at University when I fell behind in my work so I know how it feels - I have good empathy and will help you to regain your confidence and to prioritize your tasks and feel less overwhelmed. At college, I was able to achieve several distinctions there. I got the Ajk state scholarship stipends every year. I was a best horse rider, record holder of Javelin throw of 90 meters and a runner up in inter-collegiate Bilingual-Declamation contest in 2013 as a English speaker. I was also able to get my first ever article "Funny English Language" published in our annual college magazine in just 9th grade. I made mistakes too during my life but I always learned from them.

I am an Egyptian who lives in UK. I have been teaching Arabic for non arabs for 3 years now. I teach the language based on the goal of the learner. With some learners, we focus on everyday conversation, with others we focus on reading and accurate sounds and with few learners we focus on grammar and writing to achieve advenced levels. I prefer to teach in Arabic with minimal translation (by immersion) so the learner can get more familiar with the langusge but I also can speak English well.
