I am a Primary school teacher, with an experience of 13 years. Having worked in both KS1 and KS2, I know and can teach all areas of National Curriculum. I am a believer of hands-on learning, utilising a variety of manipulatives both purchased and found around the house. Before starting teaching in school, I have worked for 6 years with pre-school children and understand the ways young children develop their learning. A lot can be learn through playing and questioning. Being exposed to a variety of abilities, I am very flexible in changing my teaching methods, adapting them for each child. As problem-solving underlies most of the learning, I ensure that children learn to apply their knowledge in a variety of contexts. I am happy to teach online as well as teach small groups of up to 4 children. |
