I have been a teacher of A-level and below Chemistry for well over 10 years. During tast time I have worked as head of science in a comprehensive school, but I am currently a Chemistry A-level teacher at one of Norfolks highest achieveing schools. Around 50% of our students get A or bettern at A-level. Although my first love is to teach students Chemistry and to also love and enjoy the subject, I understand that many people are looking for preparation for external exams. My ability to prepare students for these is enhanced by the fact that I have been an examiner for many exam boards, including OCR, and CIE over the last 10 years. As well as marking hunderds of these exams I have taken part in meetings where markschemes are revised, interpretted and finalised so I understand what is being looked for. As long as a student is motivated, and prepared to work hard, I can improve their ability and outcomes in Chemistry. |
