TEACHING: My goal is to help students understand the content, stay engaged and ensure they enjoy their lessons whilst pushing them to their best. I found through my own revision that learning what type of learner you are is one of the most helpful attributes to revision, which is something I would assist with. Additionally, I want to keep students motivated through their long years of studying as it is a long process and to get the higher grades consistency is key.
LESSON STRUCTURE: A typical length of lesson would typically be an 1hr long. The first half of lesson would be going through a topic which the student is struggling to comprehend or to learn new content keeping the student ahead in school. Then using a range of exam questions to further their understanding of the subject area, progressing from their as needed as every student is different lessons would be tailored towards them. |
