In my professional work I have been envolved in anything from creating the rock music for an internationally released film, to mixing pop and dance for commercial release, not only this, but I have taught for many years, both in 1-1 environments and in larger class settings.
As mentioned before, I have a wide range of experiences teaching. I aim to implement my professional work within my teaching, for example, showing students the mix for a song I worked on, I explain how I completed the mix, what techniques were used and how they can achieve a similar sound, I then will give them the stems for the project and ask them to work on the track themselves! My goal is to make the student feel as welcome as possible, with the greatest improvement possible in a short time span. |
