Over the past four years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to teach English in China (Jiaxing), both online and in the classroom. Starting in a traditional classroom, I built strong connections with my students and refined my teaching techniques. Moving to online teaching expanded my reach and allowed me to embrace new educational technologies, making learning more accessible and engaging. In China, I taught a diverse group of students, from young children to adults, each with their own unique needs and goals. This experience taught me to be adaptable and creative in my teaching methods, ensuring that every lesson was interactive and enjoyable. Watching my students grow and develop their English skills has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Now that I’m in the UK, I’m excited to continue this journey and meet new students. I’m eager to bring my international experience and passion for teaching to learners here, helping them achieve their language goals and fostering a love for English. |
