With zero prior knowledge of sociology, I started learning sociology with Meliz a month before the AS sociology exam . Meliz is good at teaching exam techniques and concepts .Not only did Meliz make sociology an easier subject to learn and understand , she also helped me with building my confidence . I really enjoyed my lessons with Ms Meliz and they were very productive. I had taken sociolgy as a 4th subject in the last 6 months of my A2 course and joined Ms meliz 15 days before my exams. So I had to cover a 2 year course in a very short time and initially aimed for getting a B but because of her effective teaching style and precise notes I was able to aim for an A/A*. Having initially met Meliz in person in her home, it was obvious that her passion, knowledge and willingness to help my daughter would be worth giving Skype lessons a try. My situation was quite a unique one, I had contacted Meliz a couple weeks before my final A level exams and I was self-teaching both AS and A2 Sociology in 1 year. Due to my inability to travel, I was still able to get effective sessions via online lessons. From the beginning Meliz was very professional, she was able to work around my complex situation with a more intense approach. Furthermore, she dramatically condensed both AS and A2 in a concise way and helped me tremendously with exam practice. Without her help, I would have no clue on how to answer the questions in the exams. Not only that, but she was able to boost my confidence for the exams and calm my nerves. Meliz is an excellent teacher. When our son, who tends to be very sensitive and picky about his teachers, said he really enjoys working with Meliz and that he feels that he gets a lot out of the lessons. He says that Meliz is able to communicate the concepts to him in ways that were different than those that his regular teachers used, and that this helped him understand the concepts much more easily.
